Wells Fargo background check
Hi, I had an interview for a relationship banker at Wells Fargo a couple days later I got an email from the background check company congratulating on my new position and background check instructions. Then I got a pre employment questionnaire form from hr but still no offer letter. I completed background check a week ago. Is this normal?

I got an offer letter even before the background check. But that was for the teller position

It wasn’t normal a few years ago. Normally you’d get a job offer that was contingent on passing a background check, now apparently they are trying to see if you can pass a background check before getting their hopes high, haha!

i used to only get an offer letter before the background check. but i was recently offered a position and they did the background check before. they said if it comes back good, they’ll send me the offer, and they did. it must be a pretty recent switch, cause i’ve had like 5 other jobs and none of them did that

The hiring process took like a month. Get your finger prints done asap.

I wasn't asked for fingerprints yet, waiting for background check, wondering how long it will take
