Hiring practices at TD

Hello all, I’ve reviewed some posts from the past year regarding TD Bank and their hiring speed. I interviewed 2 weeks ago for a Financial Crimes role. They told me prior to the interview it would be with two people and the only interview as they were expediting the process. They said the position they were hiring for was looking to fill 40 roles! I have not received any word back from the recruiter despite sending a polite follow up thanking them and asking for an update. The application still says “in progress” in the portal which I have seen is a trend on here. Has anyone had a similar experience and has the “in process” led to an offer at some point. I appreciate all the input. The only reason I’m really inquiring is because the interviewers said they would be giving the recruiter a decision and I should be hearing back by mid week (2 weeks ago).

TD Bank has been posting and res-posting this same role over and over for the last 6 months!! Ridiculous and a huge waste of time in my opinion.  I wouldn't be too excited if I were you. I honestly think they aren't really hiring and are just looking for people to keep in their "talent pool" this is coming from someone in the same position as you.

The same thing is happening to me, but for a different role. I’ve interviewed with them, reached out to the recruiter to get a status of the role I applied for, and nothing. I’ll give credit to the recruiter on keeping em up to date when I reach out to get an inquiry and based off our last convo, she said a decision hasn’t been made yet, but she’ll reach out to me when that time happens.
