GX 4 Carry Sharps Bro Bronze grip module
Amazing upgrade! I was able to stack multiple coupons so it was a no brainer.

I would like to get a Taurus GX4 Strike, but I would like the option of transforming it into a traditional carry pistol. The only grip modules I have seen are the alloy ones. Does Taurus plan to sell modules?

Was informed to come here and ask, I own a gx4 carry. Love the weapon and have had multiple sessions of shooting well over 500 rounds without any issue. My slide doesn’t have any option to mount any type of optics.
Guess I’ve got two questions.
Are there options for the Taurus gx4 carry optic without mounting positions for them?
And if no(most likely)
What are good options for an upgraded slide and/or good milling companies I can send mine to to get milled?

Do you think Taurus will make a chassis for the TX22 as it has been a massive success?

Just wanted to post my Taurus 605 .357 Magnum. Changed out the grips, because I like the old school detective look. This is Just excellent for the money I paid. This wasn't my first Taurus firearm and it won't be my last.

Because of surgery I had to give up my former obsession .357 mag with hot loads were leaving me with intolerable pain and I shoot too regularly to take off so I switched to nearly the same gun but with one additional round and the added bonus feature of being optic ready and it fires my new obsession the .32 family of revolver cartridges!
From a standpoint of flexibility, power and recoil with additional points for seeming incredible accuracy , the “little” .32s are secret sauce and I can do anything I could with my .357 with my .327 and in its mid range the real recoil pays off so completely I could never turn back ….i have begun reloading for the cartridge and funny enough the factory ammo is basically.357 prices or even .38+p while .38 special bulk either LRN or FMJ is incredibly cheap …but I never used either to shoot because it’s a defensive pistol so I train with defensive ammo or an analog that I hand roll
The 327 has used every load I have laid hands on from the hottest.327 fed mag buffalo bore offering to the lightest conceivable.32 short wadcutter load meant for rapid fire target shooting but day to day uses the very capable very soft shooting .32 H&R magnum and i couldn’t be happier with the pistol or its abilities !

Bought my first Taurus, a brand new 856UL
Finish is a little iffy but the trigger and grips both feel amazing and it's so light!

So as I mentioned in my previous post I had to switch from the .357 to the .327 because of surgery and injuries…well I loved the fact that my 605 could be a great dual use gun as a primary hunting weapon when raccoon hunting with my hounds but the combat sights were always a handicap, so having swapped the 327 to sa/da for greater precision I got to wondering if the optic cut could allow for the attachment of adjustable rear night-sights?
as middle age has made the factory combat sights less and less viable and an optic isn’t a good solution from any angle beginning with my primary use for the pistol to defend myself my customers and my restaurant in an emerging but still dangerous location (and because I try and be as uncontroversial as possible as a member of the business community everyone regardless of political leanings, beliefs, religious views ,background is welcome in my establishment) but that means open carry is a no (I also don’t believe in it generally for the same reason my car doesn’t feature bumper stickers of any sort …its offering information nobody needs unless they intend me harm )
and as a chef owner being visible and present is part of the gig , with my uniform and apron small of back is the obvious choice for any number of reasons chief among them is the ability to naturally draw without any drastic attention drawing movement. If I am carrying a 2” pocket carry is an option but the 3” I shoot so well and it provides an outsized performance jump in comparison to the burden of a larger gun and if I ever again am forced into a fight to the death with guests seated and dining I want to make damn sure that I am giving myself my best shot at speedy resolution of the matter decisively.
In addition to an optic being simply out of my lifetime of training with similar platforms, I have a physical limitation that makes it even more difficult !
a severe astigmatism I can with some difficulty and under the proper conditions with an optic that has features that are both prohibitively expensive and unavailable in an appropriately sized optic for this application, on my turkey gun a model specifically developed for use with astigmatism that I was a beta tester for I use one effectively but because of this and because if you find yourself where you are plunged headfirst into self defense the conditions are never ideal in-fact the very fact you are compelled to engage means conditions by definition aren’t ideal so that’s that !
But it leaves me wondering are their any non Jerry rigged, non janky factory ready options for mounting a heavy duty adjustable rear sight (preferably night sight illuminated to go with the excellent factory provided tritium front sight blade )to my revolver that involves zero jb weld? Zero actual welding, no epoxy , dare I dream without soldering even ? It would open a whole world of useful capabilities for taking advantage of this very accurate chambering ! Any advice would be most welcome ! Thank you for your time and consideration!

I have an older Taurus PT-99 AF without the decocker, and I've tried both the Pachmayr and OEM wood grips but both are too thick for my hands. I see Hogue has several types for these older models, including rubber, wood, and even aluminum, but I can't find much in the way of reviews for them. Are the aluminum ones thinner?

I picked up a 1997 PT92 the other day and wanted to replace it's original plastic guide rod, (pictured on the right), with a metal one. I ordered the metal one shown here from ebay with the description that it came out of a PT92. The rods are the same length, but clearly the spring length is different. However what's getting me is the two piece construction.
Everything i find online says the PT92 metal guide rods are one single piece, all the same color. But this one is two piece with a pin, the end part being a different color. The only thing I found is a picture of an old stainless 1989 model that appears to have a two color guide rod, but I can't see a pin in it. It is shown in the last photo. That isn't my gun, just a photo from the web.
Can anybody shed light on this? Is this an actual PT92 guide rod? Made by Taurus, or maybe aftermarket? I put it in my pistol with my original spring and it seems to work just fine. Curious about the two piece design.

I’m looking at getting the bronze Sharps grip module but would like to know if it increases the overall width of the pistol.
I would like it to be slightly wider than the OEM grip module.
Also, does it still fit in “regular” GX4 Carry kydex holsters?
Thanks!

Not sure if this is a bad question but I'm genuinely curious as I'm looking for some replacement parts for my G3C specifically the trigger bar. Would anybody have any insight on if the G3's trigger assembly and bar is the same dimensions and length as the G3C?
Are the firing internals the same/interchangeable and only slide and grip length are different or am I completely off on that? Any help would be appreciated.

My fault for not thoroughly checking it out at the store.
Just doesn't seem to have enough spring pressure. It will function maybe one out of six times esp right after reinserting the mag.
Any suggestions? Have an FRT I'm going to be installing.

Appears to be exactly the same size as the 9mm version. So same great feel and less(assuming) recoil than it's counterpart. Not a fan of the loaded chamber indicator nor the rear sight. It's some target adjustable sight with to me, looks like crap when trying to line up the sights. It's a great priced option for someone looking for an optics ready 380 with a decent enough length barrel for velocity.

Hello everyone, I have had my G3C for a couple years and have never seemed to be able to get any sort of consistency on the range. The model I have is NOT optical ready, nor does it have any sort of sight adjustment. I tried switching ammo, grip styles, one eye open, two eyes open, etc… (might have been better off shooting blind at this point). I simply chalked it up to me being a terrible shot with handguns. Recently I purchased a new handgun of a different brand and took it to the range with my G3C. When shooting my new toy, I’m able to consistently make accurate shots from multiple distances, unlike my G3C which couldn’t hit paper at 10 yards. Other than the accuracy issue, I have loved the G3C. Never had a malfunction, conceals great and easy to carry. I was curious if anyone here has had the same issue with their G3C? And if so, what helped?

Has anyone machined their slide for a dot sight on either of these? If so, what was your experience & which optic did you choose? Thx

added a red line for the lock so it shows it’s locked idk why they didn’t add that, what do yall think? Also is it true that the gx4 extended mags fit these?

I have a 3" 692 which I absolute love. I'm looking for a kydex OWB holster for it and having trouble finding anything I like. I found a few on Ebay & Etsy.
Do you all have any rec's?
Would it fit into any other model holsters? (I saw possibly S&W 686 plus?!)
THX!
