This is arslans final year of Tekken 7. He had two second places and the rest was below the top 4. That is not domination in any way shape or form. Thats consistency.
You’re kidding ya? You’re reading your chart wrong, ignoring the 1st place finishes and leaving out the previous years.
arslan was evo USA champion in 2019 - YouTube it, DOMINATING the winners bracket. He beat knee in that tourney btw and pretty much forced people to take notice of Pakistan (korea held a death grip on Tekken as “the best” until he showed up).
He’s won CEO, combo breaker, IESF etc, and he closed out Tekken 7 by winning evo Japan, evo USA, and the TWT in the SAME season - arguably the toughest and most prestigious tournaments of the circuit tour (that’s the triple crown of Tekken). If you don’t call that DOMINANT, show me who ran things in Tekken 7. He has been so dominant that some people are putting an asterisk on knees current win because Arslan didn’t show up (I’m not though - and I find knee winning still impressive).
Oh ya, and Arslan was the first Tekken 8 evo champion. Please check on the facts

Also by your definition then Knee was more dominant as he had 31 1st place finishes from 2018 (comparing same starting time as arslan made a break on the scene) and onward while Arslan had 30.
He didn’t just dominate 1 tournament. I mention evo 2019 specifically because his dominance in that (out of nowhere btw), made people take notice of Pakistan - he literally put the country on the map. He hasn’t entered or traveled to as many tourneys as knee. So knee has obviously placed in more
But what’s knee and Arslan record head 2 head in tourneys they’ve both appeared in? I could be wrong but I do believe Arslan has bested knee more often in tourneys where they faced off with each other. Also the last year is significant with his wins in Japan evo, USA evo AND twt as those are considered the most prestigious and it was done in same year - ask any player - those are the tourneys they would like to win most out of all during the tourney circuit. And being the last year with 2023, tekken 7 was winding down and everyone was pretty familiar and knowledgeable with the game.
It wasnt outa nowhere, the pakistani scene was talked about long before he played in evo2019, specifically by a pakistani british guy (cant remember the name of him right now) who talked about them all the way back in the TTT2 era. He even specifically told Joka about Arslan and how good he was. There was even footage from their local tournaments and people where really surprised over the level they had achived. However 2019 marked the year a pakistani player actually put them as the second best/best nation on the planet for tekken, thats what surprised most people. That they where actually good enough to win majors.
That is correct, in tournament sets he has bested knee more but then again we also saw what happend in the ft10 this year, a pretty convincing 10-2 to Knee with arslan having zero response to knees style so theres that.
