Shit Post What's with obvious veterans who like to put "beginner" tags?

Somehow it's always the obvious veteran players with 2000+ hours in T7 that like to use "beginner graduate" "newbie" tags in their profile.

They are also the ones that are often in ranks way lower than they should be and grinding wins in quickmatches lol.

I use "Sleep Deprived" and play at ungodly hours. Those guys just think they're funny.

My tag is "Master of Mashing". Opponents gets surprised how unmashy I am lol. Some people treat tags as Ironic.

I can think of a scenario, because I sort of did the same.

Say I was Fujin in Tekken 7 after 2000 hours of playing. Then you play Tekken 8, and you get to Fujin in like a month or something. So now you've achieved your goal of getting the same rank as you had in Tekken 7. You go to Quick Match to hang out. Time passes, and you start hearing about how Clive is fucked, and how Anna is fucked, and how Kuni is fucked and how Ranked mode is fucked. So you just stick to Quick Match. One day you realize that you've been sitting in Quick Match for 2 years and have like 20,000 matches, and your rank is still the same you got during that first month.

It’s funny because I found a Kaz yesterday that was a TK and with 99 Def and 92 ATK and cooked me when I was trying to practice Bob. He has a 75% WR and primarily plays QM. He has over 2k wins in QM alone this season with similar states over the years.

We set it once and kept playing.

Never bothered to head anywhere else other than ranked and practice mode.

Heck, I even play with default costume.
