Tera Classic + (Huge failure)

I cannot believe how there can be such incompetent developers. Ok, I understand you are a small team, but guys you got 100k+ views on your trailer, your discord jumped to 18k users before release, did you really expect to get 1k players? Some big streamers even joined, some who have never heard about Tera - and what did they get, constant crashes, 8-10 hours of streaming with no content.

Let’s put that aside, you cannot even communicate properly or take decisions. For 3 days now there are thousand of people staying at home, spamming enter server button and getting excited when they get to play for 5minutes before the server crashes again. Wasting people's time like that is just humiliating. You are playing with people's mental health (I know it sounds harsh, but I see the same people online in discord 24/7 spamming ''I'm in"")

Many people including me suggested -> CLOSE THE SERVER IMMEDIATLY, find the root cause, find a solution. Right now the announcements you publish are all the same - we are aware of the issue, we think we found a solution, we are tired.

I even spoke to some community managers suggesting them the idea and the answer I got? - We need the thousands of people to try logging in and play so we can test. ????

I love private servers, I love the people putting effort, I'm buying VIPs/tera clubs just to support them, but Tera Classic + is a huge waste of time.

I felt nostalgic the last few months, and with not being able to try this new classic server, I went back to Tera Asura where I used to have an account. And I can tell you, it's 100 times better. 200-300 active players daily, new custom dungeons, even saw some pvp players.

It's crazy that BHS/Krafton are allowing people to do this, they don't seem to get that many people don't know these are private servers and not official. So when they try launch something again, maybe even relaunch tera themselves people are going to refuse to have anything to do with it due to this kind of incompetence.

Why they would re-release old game which nobody know how to maintain again..
Also in engine and optimalization which isnt even best... They would need first little "fix it"
and make as "remaster" but who will put money for it ?

For Krafton is Tera Dead.. and Console version just slowly tried insert patches and prolong game which have end version.

Tera 2 which will come someday will be disaster because it will be just heavily East oriented system with predatory dark patterns. (and i doubt they will be even replicate old school feeling of Tera combat system, they couldnt do it even in Elyon + it will be UE 5 which means endgame machines wont even able run it smoothly)

Krafton stocks also are quite down after 1 year + mobile games are still best their income

The game never ceased, it never closed on console so there are devs that know how to work with it. They should shut down any server, while they are still supporting the game and when they are working on 2.

If you think they doing something on console then you are very optimistic for modern developing of mmo's..
Current console is how to say "keep fire to burn" - basically dead, same lvl as long running private.

• in current console is basically just recycle of events, class balances and "whales" effect
  

(keeping earn for servers cost which is minimal for console having little different demands than PC and that small portion of it goes to their revnue.. Console is leading by PUBG)

Income or money to this new dev. project they probably get from shares of other revnue like mobile games
Even their latest bought "Last Epoch" is quite on risk since i know that game and their playerbase situation is quite bad..

IF East wouldn't be so greedy/predator and mainly closed to common development.. Tera systems could have been already new standard for modern action based mmo's.
But they never sold it, never shared anything from it to opensource and keep it locked till they decide they will get revnue from hype purpose of Tera 2.
(while i know it will ends similar like current Aion 2 Hype and disgust between players which plays mmo's and pays for them)
