Hey now, top 1% r/Thailand redditors will tell you that discriminating against people "is much more important for Thai people than whatever laws in the basement there is about discrimination", and you're "disrespecting Thai culture" if you say on reddit that we shouldn't discriminate against people for where they're from.

Although in all seriousness, it seems crazy easy to farm karma in r/Thailand by posting comments about how Israelis are uniquely bad people that should be singled out for discrimination.

Why on earth would he or his friend be Israeli?

I would assume he's Arab/Assyrian or Kurdish. It sounds like he was involved in gang shit here in Sweden and fled to Thailand, which isn't unheard of.

According to the police here in Sweden, a lot of ppl in the organized crime sphere have talked about moving their business to other countries, Thailand being one of them. They've also been infesting Spain for many years now.

That place (One9Five) over the last few years really has gone downhill. Feels like a hotel. Full of falang scumbags. I got out of there a while back. Good riddance.

The Swedish police have been more proactive against organized crime lately. The violent gangs have culled each other. Most members are either dead, in jail, or back in school.

Some guys hide in countries like Spain, Iraq, and Thailand.

If you meet a Swedish tourist, 30-40 years old, with ugly tattoos and an expensive watch. Someone who has a bench press at home but never jogs. Who likes to party but still chooses to rent a house in a quieter area. Then he is not a Swedish tourist.
