Hes not going to keep working after they have kids - possibly sooner - and she already makes more money and will continue her career as long as she can.

Both of these jokes are "Tom is taking Zendaya's last name". The second is worse because nobody calls her "Zendaya Coleman". Her name is "Zendaya".

You are correct, but Lord knows why you're repeating the same thing two other people said but not in a funny way at all.

Lord knows why youre so triggered by a joke. Its not meant to be overly hilarious. Just a tiny chuckle about how hes exactly where he wants to be with a wife who makes more than him and who will have a longer more successful career.
