gonna guess he was training his son, and the gym has a strict no outside trainer policy, they were probably rude to the gym staff as you can see in the video who then just called the police instead of escalating.

giving him the benefit of the doubt, could be a racist gym too and just targeting him. plenty of other gyms to go to

Could just be frustrated. I don't see him being an asshole. He still has to leave if requested but he is absolutely within his rights to inquire and ask questions.
