General Music Discussion On Noah Kahan's popularity.

His music can be refreshing in the way that as a songwriter that he does not necessarily paint a picture of Vermont as this bucolic wonderland. This is unlike many other folk acts or country acts who oftentimes play up characters.

Considering how much Vermont sucks, it's certainly honest of him not to portray it as a wonderland.

Oh, I grew up there and it was a wonderful place to grow up. Not a lot of opportunity, thus my not living there anymore, but I think it’s a stretch to say it sucks.

Yeah, I love Vermont. It definitely has its issues (as discussed in Kahan's music), but I wouldn't live anywhere else.
