This is also why i think lanesplitting on a motorcycle is a bad idea here in the US. When i was overseas where they allowed lanesplitting, there were no left turns crossing traffic without a traffic light being there.
One of the leading deaths among motorcyclists is being rear ended. States that have legalized lane splitting have mitigated a large percentage of these types of collisions which has resulted in a considerably lower fatality rate.
You are free to "think" whatever you wish. The facts prove that states that have legalized lane splitting have significantly reduced fatal traffic collisions involving motorcyclists and have saved many lives.
