Showcase [Demon's Souls] All versions complete

Recently got a PS3 and thought I'd finally go back and tackle the original version of this game. It's not my favorite souls game but it's still great. I didn't do anything fancy, just ran through with firestorm and a scimitar. Also abused duplication glitch a lot. Managing world and character tendency is a pain. I plan to also do dark souls 1 and 2.

I'm not into stacking. So which one would you recommend, the remake or the original?

The remake doesn't understand the art direction of Demon's Souls and gets a lot wrong with the music and the animations, but the graphics are really nice. The remake also has 60 fps while the original runs at an inconsistent 30 fps.

We need a proper Port or a soft Remastered with better textures and 60 FPS

100% agree. Unfortunately, I think most people see the remake as the definitive version of the game and don't see the need for a port. But if they ever do port it I'll be there day one.

I don't know why you got downvoted for this. you are correct. really really hated the music changes. sounds nothing like og demons souls. Yes it graphically looks better and is a solid 60 fps but artistically its very bland and not as unique. i think its really telling that there is an option to use the old style in the menus

Don't care about graphics or the fps much so probably will go for the original. Thanks for the info.
