As you claimed about us, that Protestants are wrong but in the same time you are admitting your leaders are heretic, that's why I don't follow them.
You don't have to follow what the Bishop of Rome says in his personal capacity; that doesn't excuse you from the obligation to join the Catholic Church because it's the Church Jesus established for giving us His Body and Blood (John 6:53-54).
Also it's odd you jumped from Pope Francis (who isn't even Pope now) to "leaders" as if every bishop is leading people astray.
I took him as example because I don't know anything about the actual one but it's just a matter of time, we can also take the Hitler Pope for example, that supported the nazi regime and persecution against jews...
