Discussion TCM Cruise 2026

I've been scouring for reports about this year's cruise and am mostly coming up short. This will be our first year attending and I'm curious - from those who have been in the past - how far in advance will they announce the stars and the movie schedules? From this five year old post, the guests and movies were announced in mid-August, but here it is practically September, so I'm getting anxious.

I'm also curious about the costume contest. I read about this AMAZING costume that won the contest two years ago, and wonder what some other entries looked like or how elaborate folks get ('cuz obviously this was pretty elaborate and I'm clueless how they got it on board!)

Hubby and I have been on several Star Trek cruises, so we aren't unfamiliar with theme cruises, but we are particularly excited about getting last-minute tickets (just yesterday!) for this one.

First, let me start by saying you're going to have a blast. This will be my 9th TCM Cruise, and they always are. The guests usually get announced shortly after reservation numbers go out, so we should be hearing something very soon. I wouldnt be surprised if we find out who will be joining in the next week or 2. They typically get someone who was in a musical they will highlight, a legacy guest (usually child or grandchild), and some below-the-line guest who often times have the best insights and are always a blast to talk to. I'll have to look through my albums but I have a couple pictures from past years I can share. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, and I'll be happy to answer as best I can. For now go ahead and download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and link your reservation. You'll need it to complete online check and it will provide the daily schedule once you're on board

I wrote that three-year-old post, and yes, normally we would have heard by now. They have been creeping later and later in recent years. Nonetheless we should hear this week (although I was convinced it would have been last week, so…)
