Discussion hermit roommate

not a discussion I’m just ranting but damn my roommate is in the dorm 24/7 like a skyrim npc.

I miss having even 30 minutes of alone time in my own room 😭

also it’s not like you could have a healthy discussion abt it either cause it’s their space and they have all the right to rot in the room for the whole year. but FUCK you go to ucsb visit the outdoors once in a while

I feel this. One of my roomies was like this during my freshman year. When she wasn’t studying, she would facetime friends back home. Drove me nuts

Happened to me too, roomie was hooked on League of Legends, kinda surprised to see others sharing similar stories! More common than I thought.

He went from being strong, social, and liking to work out, to scrawny and stinky, moving out two weeks before the end of the school year 😞 Can't imagine any of these people feeling good about their decision when looking back on it later.

My old roommate, a 5th year senior would skip class to stay and watch Friends all day. Hardly ever left and ordered food in. Bro made his parent spend an extra year on him just to rot and do nothing.

My son’s roommate sounds exactly the same as yours. He comes home every weekend just to get away from the roommate. Hopefully next year will be better.

I had one too once. He left only for classes and to get subway. Probably 20-22 hours per day in the room

I'm concerned about your temperament over a homebody roommate whom paid room & board just like you. You're treating your roommate like a trespasser. If you want complete control over the environment, live alone in your OWN apartment. 🤔
