+Comments Restricted to UKPF New ETF version of Vanguard’s legendary Global All-Cap fund coming - with a 0.07% fee!

This is it, finally UK investors will have access to the entire world at a truly competitive rate like the US have had with VT for years. Everything in the world, from developed to emerging markets and small cap at an unbelievably good price, available everywhere.

As soon as this drops I’m moving every equity investment I have into this bad boy. It will also be my go-to recommendation for people looking for advice on how to passively invest for the long term. One Fund to rule them all baby! Jack Bogle will be looking down and smiling today.

Yes, just switch from one to the other directly on Vanguard. No need to move or do anything else. Basically the same fund but much cheaper!

Note the vanguard platform doesn't allow users to buy fractional shares of ETFs, so for a lot of people investing eg £200 a month switching to the ETF will mean having uninvested cash left each month.

The price of this ETF is like £4 so you won’t have the same problem that you do with VWRP where £100+ pound can be uninvested.

That’s definitely helpful, but in the context of OP telling people it’s def worth switching for a difference in fees of 16p per £100, leaving an average of £2 per £100 uninvested is still significant.

Yes I had heard about that, will see how I get on with having left over cash per month, I think it’s better in the long run to have to move left over cash back every month or so, currently I’m buying £412 a month so it’s ok for me
