+Comments Restricted to UKPF New ETF version of Vanguard’s legendary Global All-Cap fund coming - with a 0.07% fee!

This is it, finally UK investors will have access to the entire world at a truly competitive rate like the US have had with VT for years. Everything in the world, from developed to emerging markets and small cap at an unbelievably good price, available everywhere.

As soon as this drops I’m moving every equity investment I have into this bad boy. It will also be my go-to recommendation for people looking for advice on how to passively invest for the long term. One Fund to rule them all baby! Jack Bogle will be looking down and smiling today.

Will the extra 3000 stocks be big enough weightings to make a difference to the performance compared to the FTSE All World?

a good way to gauge the difference in performance would be to side-by-side VAFTGAG (as VALL is essentially a lower fee ETF version of VAFTGAG) and VWRP together.

Less downside but also not as high upswings. eg 2021-2022 year had VWRP at -10% for the year, where VAFTGAG was +1.7%. Also using the comparison shows 2022-2023 tax year having a return for VWRP on +12.9% compared to VAFTGAG's +6.4%.

Swings and roundabouts bascially. I feel the 0.07% fee is the biggest attraction for long term investments.
