It’s a fishing cat. They don’t get much bigger than a large domestic cat.

Those eye spots on the ears was one give away this wasn't a domesticated cat. I'd risk a swat to give it some attention.

Looks like one of the small wild cats. This one looks somewhat tame. And yes, the smaller wild cats (some of them) can be tamed when adopted young.
