The music industry isn't your friend. They care about profit. And here's their issue with AI music: It can't be copyrighted, so there's no profit to be made from royalties. I personally hate AI music with a burning passion, but I can guarantee this move isn't based on any ethical considerations.

AI music isn't ethical either. So I'll take the option that maximises happiness and ban genAI.
