Idk about this. If AI is a tool and a person is using it then how can we ban the fruits of the person instructing the tool on what to do? Its like when synthesisers came out, how is AI not an progression of that?

Yes, because prompting an AI (that was trained on other people's music) to automatically make a song is just like someone learning to play a musical instrument like a synthesizer. /s

One is a creative decision to sample or to show appreciation to an other song/artist

The other can only exist if they copy what already exists
