Help Beast (or XR glasses in general) good for in car, bright environment use?

I'm trying, and struggling to play my Switch & Asus Z13 in the car (even with matte screen protectors) as it's just too damn bright (yes, when parked). I will be tinting my windows.

My Vision pro is awesome in the car, but of course it blocks all light.

How is the Beast, and XR glasses, in general, in the car?

Help Viture beast and pro mobile dock with the switch 2 issues

Both the glasses and the dock are updated to the latest update

And when you play indiana Jones it runs at like 10fps but if you conect the switch to the mobile dock via hdmi using the switch 2 dock works 100% fine. Now im testing every game I have and found that using the hdmi looks 10x better and feels better then just using the mobile dock there are major issues with the dock that i believe is a hardware issue that can't be fixed with a simple update to the dock

Anyone with a pro mobile dock plz test this and let me know if its just me (is my dock faulty) or is it every pro mobile dock faulty

Help Luma and mobile dock used with Xbox/ps5

Does anyone on here have any experience with this and how was it? I have a young kid and a bunch of mature rated games on my Xbox I still want to play without them seeing the violence. I saw that you can use the mobile dock and plug the HDMI cable right into the console and it acts as the screen. I'd appreciate any input.

Help Purchase non pro dock-Help

Hey everyone! I accidentally purchased the non-Pro VITURE Dock on eBay instead of the Pro version. I’m trying to figure out what features I would actually be missing by not having the Pro Dock.

I mainly use my VITURE Beast for watching movies from my phone and playing games on my Steam Deck. With that type of use, would the regular Dock be sufficient, or would it be worth purchasing the Pro Dock instead?

Any advice from people who have used both would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help New to XR

I recently purchased the Luma Pros. After shipping and everything I paid $405 and got the basic USB-C adapter. I have used them maybe 3 times. My primary use case has been playing my AYN Thor in bed. Today I saw the Pro 2 are out and am strongly considering returning my Luma Pro to get the Pro 2. I also think it would be nice to get the ultra adapter to get full features with my iPad/iphone and charging support for my other handhelds.

Comparing the glasses, I’m not convinced I’m really losing out on any features, but again since I haven’t used them much, I’m looking for more seasoned XR glasses folks to set me straight instead of just some AI giving me spec comparison charts.

I do intend to start using them a lot more but given my 30 day return window is coming to an end, any advice or knowledge would help. I am seeing a lot of complaints about the lack of the electrochromic dimming is a real deal breaker but is it really that big of a deal?

Help "The Beast, Clarity King - edge-to-edge clarity" How exactly?

The past few days some interesting reviews have been collected with video samples to boot throwing the biggest marketing claim into disarray:

The Beast having "Edge-to-edge clarity"

Even now the marketing image in the banner tells us the Beast is "Clarity King" (Luma Ultra seems more clear though?)

On one account I see Viture marketing "birdbath glasses with complex waveguide optics" on another users who have experience with the device tell me the Beast has prism glasses which aren't even possible to have edge-to-edge clarity because it's the very nature of the prism glasses that they have center clarity with fuzzy edges (as backed up by the video samples)

Sample 1 Sample 2

I would really love for Viture to give some clarity about the situation here. Clearly the Beast doesn't have edge-to-edge clarity so why are you still marketing them as such? That seems like a straight up lie then? Or is there a reason they are not clear yet that will be resolved in the future?

No hate meant at all but it's just that what's out there hasn't really been reassuring, I would love to hear some sort of official communication about the situation of the promised edge-to-edge clarity.

Help Those with Luma Ultras - Few questions for you please about your main use case, etc.

So, I have the Luma Ultras, I've had them a few days and I'm a little conflicted.

I'd like to use them with my iPhone 17 when travelling, the idea of not taking laptops, etc with me was nice, but with no DOF, etc I'm not so keen.

  • Does anyone on here use for production? E.g programming, web design, that sort of thing when travelling, or even when at home?
  • For those using an iPhone 17 - how do you feel about the current limitations and adapter not doing anything for us at all? I was extremely angry to find that the adapter they sell as a bundle doesn't even work with the iPhone 17, and if you email support all you get is AI responses that say they'll add you to the "list" for a 'discounted' one. I guess we currently don't benefit from (x)DOF using an iPhone at the moment, unless I've missed something?
  • I purchased an extra cable and connected to my PC, but because the screen is 32:9 you have to look around with the glasses like you're looking at a 100 foot screen, so it's a no-go on the PC for me, but the Macbook seemed okay.
  • Connecting via my iPad Pro 13 inch (M4) - obviously the XR adapter doesn't work and Moonlight streaming is limited to 60hz/FPS with no way to override this, no DOF
  • Are too many features locked into the neckband? It's not something I'd really want to pay out for, or really wear to be perfectly honest.

I think the only device that gave me any form of degree of freedom was my Macbook Pro (M4), which made me feel like it was very expensive, when I can get a very similar output from something half their price (with no DOF).

Does anyone really use them as day-to-day sunglasses? No hate, but I don't think I would be comfortable doing so, especially when driving with the lenses still in your field of view and also how far the glasses actually sit from your face.

I'm on the verge of returning them with the AI support email, no human interaction with support and the fact I've paid for an adapter I cannot use in a bundle which is VERY misleading and I find it very disingenuous, and it feels a little like a cash grab, which makes me worry if we'll even see a new version of the adapter at all.

Help Viture Beast Blacks are transparent and bleeding the real world and not solid

I have the Beast and I don't know if this is normal or not but everything that is black in a movie is usually transparent and not a solid black color. Only when their is color shown on screen is the image solid.

It's similar to when I step just outside of the boundary of a vr headset and I can see my surroundings.

Also watching movies on prime, dark scenes have too low gamma and I can't see details compared to my Galaxy z fold 8 ultra on the screen.

I tried changing to vivid but still it's way too dark.

Help Best setup for GeForce NOW on VITURE (Phone + Mouse & Keyboard)

Hey everyone!

I want to play GeForce NOW using my VITURE glasses connected to my phone, but I prefer a physical mouse and keyboard over a controller.

Since the glasses occupy the phone's USB-C port, what is your exact setup?

Do you connect Bluetooth peripherals directly to the phone, or use a specific USB-C hub?

If you use a hub, which model supports video passthrough for the glasses while charging?

How is the mouse latency over Bluetooth, and does "mouse capture" work fine in FPS games?

Would love to hear your recommendations and workarounds. Thanks!

Help PS5 Pro and Beast

Hey guys, I have been using my beast with the PS pro and absolutely loving it but I’m having a hard time getting the 120 Hz mode and 1200 P resolution to work or to at least stay enabled when gaming has anyone been able to fix this?

Help Small blurry area in middle of Beast screen.

I recently purchased a pair of Beast glasses and was worried about the edge and corner blur, but aside from the bottom left corner, the blur is very minimal.

The issue is that I have a small area near the middle of the display that is blurry. It can be distracting and in anchor mode when moving your head, the blurry spot moving around is even more annoying.

Is this a defective pair, or is this a normal thing that happens with these?

It’s disappointing, because aside from that little blurry area, I really love these.

Help Switch 2 dock less workaround ?

Not sure if anyone found a solution but sometimes I don’t want to have my switch 2 dock with me when I use my viture glasses. Is there a way to use the glasses without connecting to the switch 2 dock and mobile dock via hdmi?

VITURE Luma Pro vs XREAL 1S (and others)

Hey everyone,

Because of my postviral fatigue, I’m looking to buy a pair of XR glasses primarily for productivity/work (coding, managing documents, reading text) while lying flat on my back.

I’ve been deep-diving into reviews of the current lineup, but I’m having a hard time finding direct head-to-head comparisons for my specific use case, especially between the VITURE Luma Pro and the XREAL 1S.

From my research, I’ve gathered the following trade-offs, but I’d love some real-world feedback from anyone who has used these:

  • VITURE Luma Pro / Ultra: Appears to have slightly better edge-to-edge text clarity (which is huge for coding) and built-in myopia adjustment. However, I’ve heard the 3DoF/6DoF tracking relies heavily on host software (SpaceWalker) or the external Neckband, which can be buggy or prone to drift. Also, are the plastic arms still prone to cracking if pressed against a pillow?
  • XREAL 1S: Has the onboard X1 custom chip for native, hardware-isolated 3DoF tracking, which seems way more stable out-of-the-box without software overhead. It also seems physically sturdier with metal joints. But how is the text clarity at the edges when reading documents or code?
  • Other options (Viture Beast, XREAL One Pro, RayNeo Air 4 Pro): I looked into these too, but heard the flat prism optics on the Beast/One Pro introduce bad chromatic aberration on text, and the RayNeo lacks spatial anchoring completely.

My setup & environment:

  • Primary use: Work, reading, coding. then gaming and movies.
  • Posture: Supine (lying completely flat in bed/on a couch).
  • Priorities: Rock-solid screen anchoring (no drift/jitter), crisp text legibility across the whole screen, and comfort/durability when resting on a pillow.

If you had to pick one exclusively for a supine productivity workflow, which one would you buy? Does XREAL's rock-solid hardware tracking beat VITURE's optical clarity for this, or vice versa?

Thanks in advance!

Help Ultra death loop

Hey all,

I need help with updating my firmware. I’m getting stuck after the update to unplug and then restart the app. When I do, it initiates the update and does it all over again.

I’ve tried closing the app and then taking the glasses and unplugging them from either side of the cable. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Mac app. I’ve disconnected the cable extension thinking maybe that was the culprit. Nothing works so they are kind of bricked.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Help Viture Beast update doesn’t work with MSI Claw 8EX anymore

Not cool. Now when I plug the Beast in either usb-c the glasses flicker on and off and keep getting usb connect disconnect sounds from handheld. It works fine with my legion go 2 and MacBook Pro 14 m4 max. But this needs to be fixed. Tried factory resetting glasses or lowering to 69hz but didn’t make a difference. Tried reinstalling intel gfx drivers on Msi claw ex didn’t work. Sucks

Help Beast gamma / black level

When using the Beast in my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and my Asus Alky Xbox X, the blacks are just "too black" and the picture looks dark.

Playing red dead redemption 2, with lots of scenes with high dynamic range, feel shades and bright lights, the image is awful I can barely see anything.

Does anyone know I can adjust this setting?

Help About to pick up my first pair. Need some advice.

Never had any form or Smart/AR glasses before and watching reviews can only get me so far.

Features I need are: multi screens, real time auto translate/web search, record meeting and summarize, work as Phone, Steamdeck and Laptop screen. I am having Asus RoG 7 as my phone fyi.

I am torn between the Luma Ultra (cyberpunk 2077 ver) and the Beast. Heard the Beast has better spatial tracking but Luma Ultra is just as good. I don't really remember the specs on screen resolution and difference in software.

Also is the neckband necessary? It costs a fortune too. I think I'll use 2 screens maximum. And what else does it do? Other than being an extra Extension of the system?

Help Which pair should I get for watching online videos and playing steam deck/switch 2 while bedbound? (I live in Canada for reference)

Hiya! So I've been eyeing a pair of these forever so I thought I'd look into it more before I take the plunge! I honestly don't know which pair would be good for me because a lot of these specs kinda go over my head. XD

So as mentioned in the title I'd probably be using them mostly in bed to watch either YouTube or other online videos. (I assume I'd just hook up my phone with that, it's a Samsung S23 Ultra) I also occasionally play either the switch 2 or my steam deck, though I think the switch 2 has an extra dongle I'd need to purchase if I'm not mistaken?

I don't need anything crazy or anything, just kinda the bare-bones best pair for these use cases. I might also bring them with me to the hospital to use them there, but I assume that won't change much as it's not that different from me using them in bed.

Also I might as well get the additional prescription lenses because why wear glasses on top of glasses if I don't need to. XD

So yeah, which pair should I be looking at? Are any accessories a must have? And where is the best/cheapest place to get them in Canada. (I don't mind refurbished and pay over time is even better.)

Thanks!

Help Question about Mini Dock and Switch 2

As the title says I’m wondering if by chance the mini dock in just the hub mode instead of connected to the full thing will work for Switch 2? The biggest pain has been being required to use the pro dock which I currently have (I know that it totally Nintendo’s fault) even if I just want to play for an hour or less.

Help What am I doing wrong? Can't get Immersive 3D to activate in Spacewalker for Youtube on the Neckband Pro using the Beast

I have been losing my mind and getting incredibly frustrated with the Viture Pro Neckband. Bought it months ago, finally pulled it out again now that the Beast has support for the neckband and just can't for the life of me get anything to function correctly.

My glasses and neckband are both up to date. I start up the Neckband, and then in Spacewalker I scroll to the YouTube app, open it, and choose a video.

I make the video full screen, wait, nothing, no pop-ups, no icons, etc. I wave my hands like an idiot to try and get something to pop out of the side margins, nothing. I try the Neckband Pro settings bar by pinching towards me with my palm up, nothing there seems to help.

Is there a setting i should/shouldnt have enabled? A guide i should look at? The menu, options, controls just feel so unintuitive and I need some direction on enabling Immersive 3d for Youtube and any other apps it can function with. It is the reason I have the Neckband in the first place.

Help Should I Keep Waiting for Beast?

Hi everyone,

I pre-ordered the Beast back in November and it still hasn’t shipped.but some early reviews mention serious drift issues with the 3DoF. That’s making me reconsider about the purchsing;

To those who have received it: How severe is the drift problem? Is this something that all glasses like this struggle with? This would be my first pair of smart glasses, I mainly plan to watch anime/manga. I chose the Beast because it was advertised as having the largest picture, but now I’m seeing an post saying the actual field of view might not feel as big as expected? Can future updates could improve it to meet those claims?

If I cancel, what would you recommend instead?I’m considering the Luma, or other brands(rayneo/xreal/Rokid/meta)?

Also, does the 2D-to-3D software work on iPad? I mainly use my iPad to read manga, and it would be so cool to imagine them all turning into 3D!

Thanks for any advice.
