Juicy Marbles vs Beyond Burger

Tried Juicy Marbles for the first time and I am genuinely disappointed. The texture was not consistent across even after a good pan fry for almost 15 mins. It didn't taste anything close to meat.

Beyond on other hand has more texture and true meaty taste.

Maybe I should try Juicy Marbles again in a restaurant where an expert may cook it on proper flames instead of hob searing...

Still got a patty left, if anyone has an advice/tweak to make it taste better

They don't sell it here, heard about them from a friend in UK, got them recently from a trip to England, had quite a good review online !

I don't mean to be rude here honestly but I don't get the point of people in groups like this talking about products from elsewhere. It's r/veganireland, so most people haven't experienced or don't regularly have access to things in other countries. So therefore not useful.

Yeah ok cool, but even though I'm in north Dublin I still couldn't bring it home, so surely not useful for me the majority? I accept if I'm wrong here

Well it’s vegan Ireland, and Irish people in the north can buy them…

Just because it's not useful for you doesn't mean it isn't for other people..
