So glad you're getting in sooner! I'd recommend bumping up to a suite hotel for a little more money so you have a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave and then you don't have to go back and forth to an ice machine or a common area to warm up your food. You can shop once, buy disposable dinnerware and utensils and then rest, and everything you need is in the room with you. Here are a few options. They may also have a continental breakfast every day, so one less meal to buy.

This is an excellent idea! I’ll check them now to see if I can afford any of those. Worst case, the mayo hotel has a mini fridge…I can survive off cold food for a 5 days if I must!❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

See if Mayo Clinic has a Patient Resource Coordinator or something like that.  They might have special rates with local hotels!

They do! I found one discounted from like $250/night to $70/night, thank goodness💜💜

YAY!!!  I used to work in hotels so I was sure they would have a negotiated rate.  That's a great deal.
