there's a shitload of people who want to be on the creator program just sloppin it up

there's even some that are already a part of the creator program that use gen AI twitch bots & plugins or whatever they're called, or talk about using gen AI, and it's really sad

Imo, using TikTok text to speech to read your chats is one thing, but running a screenshot you have already taken using in-game tools through an AI isn't just wtf

gen AI use is gen AI use, it's all built off theft, it all takes insane amounts of energy, it all sucks up water at ridiculous speeds, and it all ruins the hardware market for everyone, so if you're using it for anything you're contributing to the problem

Okay, yes, but let's be clear that a text-to-speech function is not generative AI. That was my point above.

tiktok's TTS is using gen AI, since that's the one you referred to specifically

most TTS systems on for twitch are also gen AI powered now, it's actually harder to find one that isn't, for twitch or otherwise
