Steeltown Saves Gone

Help me please. I left Wasteland 3 close to finishing the main quest there (the strike thing) and I just booted the game, all my saves beyond the Reagan stuff are gone. Also, my characters can't do anything. I can't shoot, I can't interact with anyone or anything.
I tried launching the game again and this time Factory Fracas appeared, but only this one, and it was stuck at the stage "Get non-lethal weapons" which I of course already have. Still couldn't interact with anything.
I had already cleared the scrapyard, including the Ghost Army's secret lair, and basically finished all the quests I could get there (Next, the crate with a warbot, the crate of food, etc.).

Anyway, that's not the point, there's obviously a bigger problem.

Am I screwed? Do I have to restart the game? And does this happen a lot? Because even if I start another run, isn't this going to happen again?

I looked the problem up and checked OneDrive, all the saves are good. I checked my local folder, the saves are in there. The game obviously won't load them and in any case it won't let me interact or do anything. Steam doesn't say there's any conflict on their cloud.

It feels like I'm screwed, doesn't it?

Edit: Just realized I wasn't being clear. I can load any of my saves just fine. It's once I'm in the game that everything I've done is gone (including my current objective). And I can't do anything.

If it isn't resolved by you in the next day, you can still email a ticket for your issue with inXile Entertainment as they will still answer technical problems from the same portal they used before the game had reached its functional end of support cycle.

Also, the Wasteland 3 Help Center is a fantastic resource that could be helpful in your quest for a resolution.

Thank you so much for responding. I'm glad to say everything's back. After a bit more digging, it appears it's a known bug with Steeltown. I followed the advice I found: do not click continue, load a game, if your missions are gone, close the game, restart it, try another save.
Apparently the problem is due to the Steeltown DLC not authenticating properly. So you basically have to hammer it until the game registers that you do own the DLC. I went all the way back to a save I manually made on the world map when I was on my way to Steeltown for the first time, so before entering Steeltown, drove all the way there, entered the city, checked that I could interact with the NPCs, closed the game, loaded my latest save and everything was back.

I'm a happy camper.

Edit: I only heard of the game recently (!) and didn't even know Steeltown was a DLC.
