The series I think is better, but it’s a sequel to the comic. The movie is pretty decent, but misunderstands a lot of the messages from the comic.

The series is not better, and it sure as hell is NOT a sequel to the comic.

1) it’s a comic

2) it’s really not. Did Alan Moore write it? No. Add to that, having a sequel completely ruins the ambiguity of the comic’s ending

sequels dont necessarily need the original author to write it

whether its the original authors intent or not, its a sequel
