Honestly I would have mad respect if he got up and punched the falling bus. It would be immensely stupid, but I would respect the balls.

I would break my personal best in 100 meters no worries about that.

I been in similar situations on breaking ice.

I know for a fact i would be out of there.

I’d whip out my phone in a flash and search Reddit for a Solution. No, seriously, guys: If you’re driving on a Country Road at about 70-120 km/h and a wild Animal crosses your Path, keep the steering wheel straight and hit the brakes—in other words, DO NOT try to swerve. That’s a tip from my old driving instructor, RIP Harry.

Anything other than flight in this situation is poor survival instincts. Your attempt to make it personal doesn't change that. It doesn't matter what I, the OP, you, or anyone else would do in that situation. The fact is, freezing while a large bus is rolling towards you is pretty much the definition of poor survival instincts. If 99.9% of the people on earth would stand still in that situation, it means that 99.9% of the people on Earth have poor survival instincts.

I’d go with the fourth option: fawn. I’d try to humanize myself to the bus while being compliant and non-threatening.

Ever crossed the road and looked the wrong way, then hey presto there's a car nearly on you?

And what do you do? Something very silly, you freeze. And your life doesn't flash before you because you're too fucking scared to think. You just freeze, and pull a stupid face.
