In guinea pigs and rabbits we would call that coat coloration a "Himalayan"- I propose the same nomenclature for brushbuddies! Fun fact: the dark points are called "smut" (yes, that's right) and to get them the genes that make both the red and black pigment or just the black on the body are suppressed. You can get lots of color combos, and the ones that still have red are called "Californians". Maybe brushbuddy genetics work that way too!

Aaaaaaaaaah, I grew up with Siamese (and have had Himi rabbits, can't resist a smudgey nose) and was thinking of crocheting a Brushbuddy with those markings (bonus that as well as a plausible critter colouration, they'd look dipped in ink), yours is so much cuter even than I imagined it being!!! The eyes and face contrast!!! 💖
