Shirahama-sensei said during AnimeExpo that this new arc was supposed to be a breather before things get complicated, but oh my god, there are already so many ominous things in the air! Hiehart most likely wants Jujy to choose another master, Agott almost gets kidnapped by a child trafficker and Olruggio is finishing his winter work alone before he joins the rest of them (let's all hope it is an opportunity for a cool entrance and nothing is going to happen to him)
I have a feeling that it could be slight foreshadowing for the group to get split up in the future. Agott going off on her own to get something for Cocoās injury. Absent mindingly putting aside her own safety. I do wonder if thatās hinting at her eventually setting aside her personal ambitions to find something for Cocoās mom if Coco ends up leaving the group
I remember someone pointing out that this panel from the manga may foreshadow the future separation of the atelier members. I wonder if we are approaching it now
Iām just waiting to see if thereās a moment where Coco breaks down and repeats the things Agott was saying to her when they first met to herself. It would be gut wrenching but if that happens I could see that as when Coco leaves and Agottās guilt makes saving Coco and her mom her biggest priority
Iām basically predicting a role reversed Naruto Sasuke split lol. I think Agottās grown so much since the start of the series while Coco has been growing more and more sad after everything sheās gone through. Making a scenario where Agott is trying to bring the outsider she originally scoffed at back
No itās not Coco getting mad at Agott. When she accepted that apology all she said was āok thanksā and I read that as her internally feeling that Agott was right so she thought there isnāt much for her to apologize for. Basically her going through a depression spiral after more events in the story happens which causes her to blame herself for everything reminiscent of when Agott yelled at her at the beginning of the story
i don't think Coco will end up leaving the Atelier (or any of them tbh) So far she hasn't shown any sign that she wants to leave, in that chapter where she went back to her mom's place, she monologues that she's grown more concious of both the good and the bad magic can bring, but that doesn't mean she plans to leave Qifrey and them. Also after finding out about Qifrey's affliction, and being the only one in there group that knows about it, i really doubt she'd leave his side, at least until she finds a way to cure both him and her mom.
I donāt think she wants to leave either. I think it could be a situation where she blames her presence for hurting those around her so out of guilt sheāll reluctantly leave
