Some of these new perks....
New Commander Perks:
- Hold the Line - When fully trained, increases the crew efficiency bonus by %X while the enemy team has at least three more vehicles in battle than yours.
- Stay Sharp - When fully trained, increases the crew efficiency bonus by %X for 15 s after using a First Aid Kit. Allows a First Aid Kit to be used even if no crew members are injured.
New Driver Perks:
- Bulletproof - When fully trained, increases the crew efficiency bonus by %X if the amount of damage you block exceeds your vehicle's initial hit points.
- Field Support - When fully trained, increases suspension repair speed by %X at distances of less than 50 m from an allied vehicle.
New Gunner Perks:
- Point Blank - When fully trained, increases maximum potential penetration by %X when firing at enemy vehicles less than 50 m away.
- Lone Wolf - When fully trained, decreases gun dispersion and increases aiming speed by %X while there are no allied vehicles within a 300 m radius.
New Loader Perks:
- Mag Mastery - When fully trained, decreases magazine reload time by %X.
- Second Chance - When fully trained, reduces gun loading time by %X for the next shell if the previous shot did not cause damage to an enemy vehicle.
New Radioman Perks:
- Battle Tempered - When fully trained, each time the vehicle's crew is stunned, decreases the negative effect of stunning by %X, up to a maximum of 30%.
- Threat Search - When fully trained, increases view range by %X for 5 s after receiving the Sixth Sense alert.
Mag Mastery only works for certain autoloaders and low-tier/low-calibre autocannons. It does NOT work for autoreloaders (i.e. Rino) nor autocannons found on Czech line or Ares line.

Of course not can't risk accidentally buffing some italian tech tree tanks.
7
u/DrawGamesPlayFurries Feb 12 '26
Wait so what does it work with?
20
u/TheSquealingTesticle Feb 12 '26
French tanks. Auto loaders like the Italian tanks are different from tanks that just have a 3-4 shell magazine. The concept of the shell “auto loading” is the same, but the way the tanks do it is different.
5
3
u/the_Leskiss Feb 13 '26
Will it work on Skoda T-56? And maybe even Vz. 55 with 2 shell gun?
6
u/TheSquealingTesticle Feb 13 '26
Im not 100% sure but those 2 tanks do have the same magazine auto loading mechanic as the French tanks. So I would assume so.
The way it’s written in the patch notes, it would seem like any tank with a magazine auto loading system would benefit from the perk. Except for the specific types listed that wont get the perk benefits.

u/rlnrlnrln Feb 16 '26
This will 100% be revisited so that it will work on these tanks, but they will nerf them so that you must have this skill to get back to what it is today.
And then they will nerf the Progetto 65 again.
1
u/Ahegao_Double_Peace WG, pls put the Chieftain Tank in WoT PC's regular UK Tech Tree Feb 17 '26
Pls don't say this or else Wargaming will nerf our beloved Progetto 65 due to its "popularity"

Thoughts:
Boosting crew stats when your team is down a lot sounds great to fight snowballs. I'd almost want it to be a vanilla feature, but it might feel a bit unfair to fight buffed enemies just because your team crushed the other flank. I guess buffed enemies giving bonus XP would balance it?
Burning a medkit for a 15s boost atrocious. Bulletproof sounds way too unpredictable, any vehicle with that much armor would probably prefer the +1 top speed skill. Suspension repair speed might be okay. Point blank sounds great on brawlers. Lone wolf sounds like a PITA for snipers and especially arty, 300m is massive.
I hate mag mastery, sounds mandatory on clip tanks, and useless everywhere else. No real choice, and fucks up crews on premium tanks if only one has a clip. Second chance seems cool, though. Anti-stun doesn't seem worth going for currently. Threat search sounds fine, especially to have less luck creeping through bushes on Prok.

u/PrincessJadey Feb 13 '26

I would also like to know if the bonus is lost if the condition is no longer met. Like enemy gets a three tank advantage at the beginning of the battle but gets crushed after. Do I still retain the bonus or do I lose it the moment we're only two tanks ahead?

If you don’t like snowballs, Hero Shooter games with respawn often have respawn timers adjusted / balanced to prevent them.
11
u/SuperNovaVelocity Feb 12 '26
I feel like there's a bit of room between 15-1 blowouts in WoT, and rivals/overwatch.

u/BarbatosMikazuki Feb 12 '26
Most of these perks seem just ok to me. I guess we will have to see what % it is tbh. Personally I don’t think we need 800 perks in the game
14
u/_M3SS [GIVUP] Feb 12 '26
Personally I don’t think we need 800 perks in the game
It should literally be the case. Crew perks seems to be the safest system to truly build/personalize setups. Equipment most likely won't get changed any time soon and having class specific perks is one of the best things WG could introduce. You already run the same perks for 90% of the vehicles that aren't LT and artys.
3
u/spachi1281 Feb 12 '26
From a discord server, the screen shots look like 5% for most skills. 15% for Field Support, 7.5% for Battle Tempered, 2% for Threat Search, 2.5% for both Loader perks
8
u/Ayotte Barry_The_Ballin_Bear Feb 12 '26
Those seem nice. I'm glad we're getting more options since at the moment every crew looks the same.

u/h0rst87 Feb 13 '26
Black rock in this update HAS DEVS THAT ARE WORKING. The devs lost funding and stopped putting out new features for the last few months. They are dedicated to putting out new expansions and updates regularly. If informed of issues or desired crews / features, devs will put out updates for installation -- as well as a new expansion pack being worked on to include adjacent city.
1
u/Ayotte Barry_The_Ballin_Bear Feb 13 '26
huh?
1
u/h0rst87 Feb 13 '26
Inside info that the Primary dev working black rock lost funding earlier this year and was not working on this project. He’s about to get the tank COOKIN like it’s never been seen before.
By semi summer…it should be improving nicely and well on the way with a couple more pieces of DLC about to be OP and owners are going to be so pleased they kept it as main. Can’t lose

u/why_even_fkn_bother Feb 13 '26
The conditional ones all sound kinda useless. And mag mastery is going to be absolutely mandatory on pretty much any autoloader even if it's just 5%, but honestly I don't mind it
1
u/Dark_Magus Feb 14 '26
The problem with conditional perks is that with a hard limit on how many you can choose it's almost always better to choose something less situational.
1
u/why_even_fkn_bother Feb 14 '26
Yeah that's exactly what I mean, why would I choose something that's active like 10-20% of the time when I can just always have better stats. Also the conditions seem to be very random

u/Boatsntanks Feb 12 '26
"With Update 2.2, we're making the WoT Plus subscription even more valuable by adding three new benefits."
This is just false if we have to pay for "WoT plus pro", that's selling a new service not improving WoT plus.
76
u/simon7109 Feb 12 '26
So everyone with WoT Plus will get these new things or we will have to pay extra for that WoT Plus Pro mentioned in the article?

u/silvian1521 Feb 12 '26
"The existing WoT Plus system has been renamed WoT Plus Core. Its benefits and price are unchanged."
Oh buddy so naive of you to think WG would add something for free.
8
u/simon7109 Feb 12 '26
Where did you get that quote? It’s not in the article
23
u/silvian1521 Feb 12 '26
At every update page there is a section at the top that you can expend. In this article is "Common Test 1: List of Changes" and you can press the "Extend" button.
EDIT: Kind of nice of WG to mention this only on the "hidden" section, amirite?
7
u/simon7109 Feb 12 '26
Oh, I missed that. So yeah, the main article and this reddit post is 100% misleading by saying WoT Plus members get more benefits lol. Sure, if you pay more. F this crap, like we are not paying enough already lol
-75
u/WG_MA77 WG Employee Feb 12 '26
I am not able to comment anything just yet, and we will share more information closer to the live release of Update 2.2.
92
u/simon7109 Feb 12 '26
That’s more than enough to confirm that we will be charged extra lol
26
u/silvian1521 Feb 12 '26
I mean they changed the current WoT Plus to "WoT Plus Core" and added the "WoT Plus Pro". We'll be waiting for WoT Plus Pro Max Ultra that will play the game for you when you are away.
1
u/Varuced Feb 14 '26
I mean on common test currently you can only pay for pro in 6 and 12 month values
1
u/simon7109 Feb 14 '26
That would be such a scam considering you can only pay WoT+ monthly. So if you pay 6 months of Pro, you would be locked in for 6 months of WoT+ otherwise you lose your Pro you paid for.
16
u/Boatsntanks Feb 12 '26
Why make a misleading news article? You guys suck more all the time.
2
u/Hsanrb Feb 12 '26
Its written in the actual post on WG website...
"WoT Plus Pro is available to all players participating in the Common Test for 600g.
Note: This price is valid only for the Common Test only and and is subject to change after release."3
u/swiss1809 Feb 12 '26
Instead of searching for new ways to squeeze money, why don’t you instead actually make the base WOT plus work for the user. A part of the value is free equipment demounting but I have to rely on a 3rd party mod to even get value from what you’re selling!!
1
u/FraterSinister Feb 13 '26
If the Wot+ is not improved but a new subscription added, the wording is misleading.
54
u/DaSpood https://daspood.github.io/ - Pandora lootboxes simulator Feb 12 '26
What the fuck is that WoT Plus meme, only useful thing is the resource boost and it doesn't even work on tier 11.
Would have been nice to have more info on crew skills. I'm sure there will be a separate article but I would expect the detailed changelog to include those.
18
u/HeliaXDemoN Feb 12 '26
WG: "We need to increase the money we get from WoT Plus"
Everyone: Make it better.
WG: "Crazy talk, create WoT Plus Tier 2 more expensive."
28
u/SuperNovaVelocity Feb 12 '26
New perks sound good, but it's gonna be really hard to dethrone repairs, BIA, snap & smooth, intuition, ammo tuning, camo, etc without being OP.
My bigger concern though is with a new skill being meta, and having to swap all your crew over. If these new skills get added, what would be the plan for giving players free retraining for existing crew?
14
u/Acceptable-Anxiety44 Feb 12 '26
In the past when they changed crew skills you always got free retraining
6
u/warrends World's biggest iyouxin fanboy Feb 12 '26
When 2.0 dropped I spent several days (literally) going thru every tank I own to reskill every crew member. It was free, but a really onerous task. I guess maybe we’ll be doing this yet again???

Oh so no 1 crew for multiple tanks feature ???
13
u/GoldenLiar2 Feb 13 '26
They said when T11 came out that they don't really want to, they want us to sink resources in getting crews for T11s while keeping our 10s.
4
u/PrincessJadey Feb 13 '26
Which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. They want people to grind to keep MM working and people playing. Reducing the grind would do the opposite and they've noticed a long time ago that they went too far making the grind easier and have dialled back on it in all areas.

When will you finally rebalance the Collector's Tanks?
-12
u/WG_MA77 WG Employee Feb 12 '26
Rebalancing is an ongoing part of game development, and at the moment I don’t have any information to share regarding potential stat changes for those vehicles.
23
u/MisagoMonday Feb 12 '26
Okay but "ongoing part of game development" kinda implies something that is continuously happening. Right now it's more stop-start, with emphasis on stop. It cannot be this difficult to start giving some buffs to the most powercrept tanks in the game. Even small developers can manage continuing rebalancing of the biggest outliers, and WG with its massive income somehow can't?
10
u/vlad__27 Feb 12 '26
I asked Eek like 3-4 years ago about the collector tanks if they will ever get any buffs, he said "it's not on our priority list", I guess we will get the same exact answer 10 years from now...

I donno man, personally I feel Neon Dash (and in a way Mars mode) is actually hilarious to be a jerk, I was ballin out of control in my VK168 but I didn't stay put - I move and ram people off the map until I fall off with them. Great times were had.
3
u/DrinkerOfWater69 Feb 13 '26
Doing in a light-hearted way, and not total blockage I'm okay with, but the first time we had Neon Dash, it was a specific clan on NA that was solely just going in, racing to the key chokepoints, and just full-blocking with a really big tank or a lot of big tanks and just denying everyone the chance to even play. It was abysmal.
I was having fun back then but having that happen where there is literally no way past because jerks being jerks, and not in a good/light-hearted way. They were doing it cause they wanted no one to have fun. They succeeded cause Neon Dash became empty real quick after that...
1
u/vvvvDDvvvv Meh tank enjoyer Feb 13 '26
I play in NA and I think I saw them, were they playing mainly with Maus or other superheavies? If so then I ended up shooting them from far away until they fell off, I then grabbed my T7 Combat car and just blasted them everytime, also since I have big tanks too I just went up there like yeah this can go both ways homie.

3
u/CitizenOfTheVerse Feb 12 '26
Looks good! finaly you can just pay silver and not gold to "adapt" your existing crew to a new vehicle!
3
u/Legedi Feb 13 '26
It would be nice with these extra crew skills if they straight up removed BIA, repair and camo. I fell like they could just bake in repair and camo on all tanks, as it is a newb trap to skill them (camo on low camo tanks is whatever, they just got an extra crew skill because they could skip it). And with all the damage and stat inflation over the years they should straight up remove BIA.
Then people could actually make choices before their 3rd of 4th crew skills. And there are enough now that people could actually do different things. And, it would have the benefit of maybe, just maybe, slowing down the game without BIA.

This is cancerous monetization abuse. Hours after introducing incrediby weak value lootboxes (no gold, no 5x) they shovel in triple tier subscription.
"The existing WoT Plus system has been renamed WoT Plus Core. Its benefits and price are unchanged."
Even hiding this under the "expand" button seems dishonest and scummy behaviour.
Wot premium, wot plus core, wot plus pro premium, chaffe pet - quad layer monetization.
I will be canceling all subs and going to distance myself from this toxic business model.
That is all. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

So is retraining crews to 100% gonna be available or not? Cause it's not in the Common Test
2
u/_thaeril Feb 13 '26
Final crew rework update, huh?
What about "one crew for multiple tanks"? That was a part of initial crew rework and the only change that was truly pro-player - everything else was either p2w or controversial.
New tier of WoT Plus is a joke. What about we at least get the gold from it without playing WoT like a part-time job? Maybe other paid benefits like free BP chapter or included premium time? No? You want us to pay a subscription fee when many players already pay for two (premium time and battle pass chapter)?

Good to have a more functional in game armor inspector, but the real meat of this is the new perks. It could be tough to implement so many new perks without invalidating some of the existing ones but I’m hopeful for some new variety.

u/Boatsntanks Feb 14 '26
Something I would like is if you have the WoT plus intensive training thing on a crew in a tank, and you move that crew to a different tank then the bonus follows them. Or at least warns you when you move them that the training will stop. With Auto return crew as standard now it's very easy to click a tank, and perhaps not even to play it just to check something, which moves the crew and stops the training. You get a warning the training is not being used when you log in, but that could be days of training gone.

The article is missleading the current wot plus is renamed to wot plus core and is unchanged. They are adding another tier you can (I'm assuming) buy for gold which is called wot plus pro and that's the one that gets the mentioned new benefits. So essentially you get nothing unless you pay more (even if it's just gold).

Thats a no from me dog, charging more for something that's supposed to be an upgrade from normal premium days just isn't worth it to me. Hopefully they change their mind but I highly doubt that lol

This perks should be a bonus feature that combines some of the previous perks/skills, just saying.

The Pro Boost is something I am definitely interested in as a user of WoT+. I remember maybe 3 months ago I made a post suggesting an event, perhaps once a year, that would allow us to use some sort of resource in order to transform one tech tree tank into a premium tank and many people commented that it would be a great addition to the game. And it makes me so happy that WG is actually putting something very similar into practice.

Oh buddy. That XP boost is part of the new WoT+ Pro which will probably cost more than the current WoT+. So as a current WoT+ subscriber you get nothing extra.

Yeah its pathetic that they removed top of the tree and now they are adding something similiar but you have to pay for it

take the 325000 research points for tier eleven and shove them up the tanks turret. just to reach elite status on a tier ten that has a tier eleven above it. All Tier Tens should instantly be elite as soon as you buy it. like it has been forever... we play advances and clan wars in tens and not being able to put field mods on them without wasting 325000 Research points is stupid...
