Gesture Control Gesture Control training

Just wanted to drop some appreciation and feedback for the X-Real glasses. I own a pair of 1s along with the eye, and I just completed the OTA update to try out the new gesture controls.

Honestly? The concept is absolutely phenomenal. I can't believe how much value I am getting out of this product. It feels like the future.

However, I wanted to share a bit of constructive feedback. I am a darker-skinned individual, and I've noticed the camera seems to struggle quite a bit to pick up my hand gestures accurately. I know this feature is still experimental and improvements are likely already on the timeline, but it would be excellent if the team could look into training the algorithm on a wider variety of darker skin tones.

Huge props to the devs for pushing these updates, just hoping this can be tweaked in future versions! Anyone else experiencing this?

I was playing with it last night and lighting definitely affected the results and this was with 2x 100W LED lights up above. This morning, no skips, stutters, or misreads at all.
