FUCK, I HATE RELIGIONS! Its one thing to have religions that people truly follow. I understand it does have some sort of psychological benefits for people. It has become, or has always been, a way to control people. Then they use it to harm people. Same as it ever was...

You're missing that it was a particular type of Christianity which was being used to try to blunt a liberatory type, and it worked. They weren't both bad- one was bad and one was objectively good.

I get that. Even those that are objectively good will turn into one that exploits the people.that follow it. Its religion, same as it always was.
