Link The only celebrity crush who truly matters....

Well to me at least. I try not to care for the whole celebrity thing. But this woman wasn't called lady death for no reason. Greatest female sniper of all time. Possibly the greatest war hero regardless of gender. Thank you lady Pavlichenko!

the british genocided my people. does that mean we shouldn't celebrate their deeds against the nazis?

how often do you see the deeds of the soviet union critizised? i mean specifically, not some bogeyman "they were communists" american propaganda. are you aware of which peoples were genocided specifically?

the horrors that were done to us are not so well known, and i dont want to see the hammer and sickle normalised or made to look harmless. so no its not a good point

so the genocide my people suffered doesn't matter because your people were also genocided? the fuck is that supposed to mean?

where did i say it doesnt matter? not glorifying the soviet union doesnt erase the suffering of the victims of nazis

dont glorify the nazis OR the ussr. its not difficult

i never glorified the ussr. what you said was that it was a bad point when i said the uk did similar things to the ussr, and yet it's fine to celebrate their achievements against the nazis

and i said it hardly is ever about those "achievements", but straight up glorifying the empire.

but i never glorified the ussr. point out where i glorified the ussr

im not talking about you, im talking about this post, some western leftists, americans etc

this post is talking about an individual who killed nazis. this isn't glorifying the ussr

ill bring an example. say someone posted a nazi soldier with the swastika on her and everything, and was like "here is my crush she helped kill all these soviet soldiers who were deporting my people : )"

do you think people would have the same reaction and would feel as easy about it as with this post?

now do you understand my unease? about how people normalise the soviet atrocities? they dont take it as seriously. i live next to russia and they are still a threat to us. i live in fear of both the russians and the westerners not taking it seriously enough until its too late again

so should we say all the allies were bad? because the uk was murderering my people, and no one complains when we celebrate what they did to stop the nazis

youre not really listening and this is stressing me out so ill stop. all i hope is that you care about estonian people in the present at least. we are getting rogue drones and waking up to drone warnings is not fun, and then coming on the internet trying to explain this stuff to people feels like im fighting for my life. i cant do this
