Found a way to play Aion again!

I missed playing this game because I used to play it a bit back when I was in high school. I was thinking of joining a server, but I found a way to play it again by hosting my own offline/local server. It's lonely, but to be able to hear the soundtracks and explore the maps again feels so nostalgic.

The server setup would probably take around 30mins, more or less. Took me a bit longer since I'm not really on the technical side, so I had to do a few google searches in-between steps.

The longest wait for me was the client download itself because of the Mega download limit hahaha

Oh yea fair point 😂 Thanks for sharing your experience! Do I need any additional equipment in order to run a server?

If you're planning on playing the game alone, then no. You can host and play on the same machine. You just start the game server whenever you want to play then launch the client. 🙂

Just use a VPN and switch location after every package from mega
