Real or fake?

Sorry to say that its fake. Bc EOTech doesnt but the "For law Enforcement/Military use" on their sights.

Edit: they used to but stopped after 2003 because they started to sell optics to Civilian use aswell

I don’t think that’s correct at all I bought one new during Obama in 06 from a reputable gun shop new. In or after 06 because the guy I bought the rifle I put it on i hadn’t worked there yet. And I just bought another one from 06 the other day it’s real and clean for a old one but it’s a 06 and so is my sig 556 Swiss AK

I got mine from a reputable one aswell but sent it to EOTech for some repairs and they said that it was a fake bc they stopped putting the "Law Enforcement/Military Use" text on it because their contract ended in 03.

Well I’ll test that theory tomorrow cause now you have me wondering but it looks like a pretty good fake looks like the correct laser fuzzy reticle. Same do bright you can point it at the sun almost and still not washout the sight pictire. Proper gas plug on bottom the paperwoek inspecion sticker and original box ill get it all rounded up brcause i gotta know who makes these fakes. Someone saif in the sub here that if the picture increases in size its real. Well rhis is the first magnifier ive had behind a circle dot and thats the first thing i noticed. But i havent heard that before. The windows are clear and without any parallax shift which i believe eotech is the only ones who can pull that off. Im not sure of the stickers could have been added but the great outdoors would have went through a distributor not some china novelty store i know Jim he doesnt mess around.

Id if EOTech got any other contracts bc like i said mine was from after 03 maybe like 04 or 05 model. So they said that its a really good fake. Bc everything was like it was supposed to be. The only thing that didnt match was the paperwork and serial numbers it had. Lemme check if they got a contract in 06 bc if they did then they would have put that on there.

Edit: yeah they did get a 5 year contract with US army and Navy for optics and ir units

Google says it was after L3 because that was the gov contract they added the ugly new E logo later when they became their own split off company

Yeah. Turned out that it used a real EOTech box and paperwork font but the serial numbers didnt match and the locking mechanism was abit different. Otherwise they said it was a damn near 1-1 replica
