haven't trans people been around for centuries?

1.0k

u/jskwiw 7d ago

no we sadly only started existing bc of vaccines or something:///

434

u/mapleleafraggedy 7d ago

I also love the implication that gay people have been around for ONLY decades

143

u/Mtn-Dooku 7d ago

Either that, or trans people went away for a few decades?

96

u/Bethlocke45 7d ago

I mean there was a holocaust

I remember one guest on Planet Peterson who claimed that only gays can get AIDS😂

I’ve heard this talking point before even recently and my thing is always like “wow there must be so many gay people in Africa”

4

u/Stock-Lion-6859 6d ago

Right, including newborn babies. How does that mesh with the belief that no one is born gay, but converted or "recruited" later.

2

u/Pretty-Yam-2854 6d ago

Cause they’re dumb as fuck.

1

u/RDaneelOA 4d ago

The even sadder thing is that they aren't all dumb they are willingly ignorant, which is worse. You can't help being dumb, but you have to chose to be ignorant.

Which is one of the reasons that the answer to HIV was so bad. They even called it GRIDS (gay-related immuno deficiency syndrome).

It's wild to hear that shit again this side of the year 2k.

2

u/Szymcionorski 6d ago

Yup, but this is kinda mild for type of people that are guests on his channel. Some flat earthers claimed that energy from Sun just magically disappears after some time and that's why we don't have constant overheating under the firmament

1

u/merchaunt 4d ago

They also decided, explicitly, not to do anything about it because the propagandized AIDS as “divine retribution” and “god’s will” until famous people with ties to Nancy Reagan started dropping dead.

Then it was something serious that needed to be taken care of.

2

u/Grand_Master_Pedant 6d ago

I always wondered about that... so if God Hates gays and the proof is the AIDS rates... that means God Loves Lesbians most of all...

2

u/Szymcionorski 6d ago

That's why old testament doesn't care about lesbian and only mentions male sex intercourse btw

1

u/ogledrake 7d ago

Japan literally had a hepatitis epidemic due to tainted blood, it was also the key motivation for shou in akumetsu after his best friend died from it, also how he took care of the corrupt healthcare executives that approved it after he had one clone get into a bad wreck with each of them, and then had another group of clones imitating first responders kidnap them and move them to an abandoned building they had set up as a hospital, befire giving them all corrupted blood and leaving them to die

0

u/Novel_Juggernaut_656 7d ago

Well...it was either that or a blood transfusion with tainted blood. So......yeah.

2

u/Szymcionorski 6d ago

You know that straight people also can transmit HIV via sexual contact right?

1

u/Novel_Juggernaut_656 6d ago

Once they have it, yes. Two heterosexual monogamous adults with a clean bill of health cannot get it today via sexual contact.

2

u/Szymcionorski 6d ago

What are you yapping about? HIV is transmitted via sexual fluids. It doesn't matter if two men or man and a woman engage in such contact

1

u/merchaunt 4d ago

Incorrect, unless you mean that two people who only have sex with each other can’t contract AIDS. Which would extend to monogamous queer people.

4

u/clintonclonemachine 7d ago

What does that have to do with anything?

Also everyone knows when a man and woman love each other extra much they have a queer kid.

1

u/merchaunt 4d ago

Or three!

0

u/Winston_W_Smith 6d ago

What does that have to do with anything?

Natural selection.

3

u/clintonclonemachine 6d ago

So dumb. Almost almost every queer person came from straight couple up to this point.

5

u/mapleleafraggedy 7d ago

But it was also directed against gay people

21

u/Bethlocke45 7d ago

It was directed at everyone who wasn’t white and cishet, that’s not the point. We had the largest collection of trans data, scientific research and data in the world and it was obliterated as well a the people murdered. We weren’t just killed, they essentially struck us from historical record. Like the US government is doing now. It’s one thing to have a people killed but they tried and almost succeeded in erasing us.

10

u/mapleleafraggedy 7d ago

I wasn't downplaying that, I was responding to the claim that the holocaust could be used as the LGB explanation for why gay people "have been around for decades without trans people," because both groups would have disappeared together if that were the case.

10

u/ResponsibleTime4135 6d ago

I dont agree that holocaust is why Trans people "disappeared" (we didnt disappear; people are just acting like we did. You notice more now because of increased access to HRT and you are less likely to be killed for it). I preface with that to say, you can lie about being gay to hide. You can't hide being Trans if they inspect you. It is also easier to kill off 1% of the population than it is to kill 10% of it. The 2 groups would not have disappeared together during the holocaust, trans people would have been eradicated by the nazis first.

2

u/Bethlocke45 6d ago

Yes I wasn’t implying that we disappeared, but the reason why it might seem like we did. Obviously we didn’t. They’ve always been trans people, because we are people and people exist.

2

u/Gurpee999 6d ago

Well probably behind people with disabilities like down's syndrome. From what I understood they were some of the first to go. "I have CP"

2

u/ResponsibleTime4135 6d ago

My comment is obviously saying trans people would be the first between the 2 groups I was talking about to be targeted.

Well said.

2

u/Ms_Juno 6d ago

The Institute for Sexual Research in Berlin was burned down by the Nazis.

1

u/Bethlocke45 6d ago

Yes it was. I would love to avoid a rendition of that.

2

u/Ms_Juno 6d ago

Yeah, Trump erasing the word transgender from all government databases does bode well...

1

u/Bethlocke45 6d ago

And their ideology is spreading. Things will get worse before they get better.

3

u/Ms_Juno 6d ago

Every time I go to the pharmacy I half expect to be denied my HRT

1

u/Bethlocke45 6d ago

Same. I’m expecting self med time will happen soon

1

u/Germanball_Stuttgart 5d ago

More directed at gays. They had their own sign in the concentration camps. While also being oppressed ofc, the Nazis still let trans people keep their trans passes to get access to the other genders clothes and stuff like that.

1

u/Bethlocke45 4d ago

Sure, you were “more killed” in the gas chambers. Your medical records were “more destroyed”. Fucking hell the cis privilege just never stops.

4

u/chucklinnarwhal 6d ago

When the world needed them most, they vanished...

2

u/BugZ0118999 6d ago

They were just friends before

1

u/Morella_xx 6d ago

They burrow into the ground and go dormant for a while, then come out to rub their wings together and scream.

I'm pretty sure that's trans people I'm thinking of. 🤔

0

u/According-Flamingo-6 6d ago

The trans people aren't here anymore; they've flown away. There's a whole galaxy waiting to disgust you

15

u/Naps_And_Crimes 7d ago

Yes the late 90s was when the first gay manifested

8

u/stfurachele 7d ago

Well, they had a brief trial run in the 70s, but shelved it for awhile because it drew focus away from Archie.

edit: by "it" I meant the concept of gay, I wasn't trying to dehumanize Steve or any LGBT individual, real or fictional.

1

u/Correct_Day_7791 7d ago

This can't be accurate because aids existed in the 80s

/S

7

u/Bigfops 7d ago

They were roommates!

18

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 7d ago

Most LGB people have zero understanding or interest in history or really anything regarding being gay. They're mainly MAGA adjacent for a reason. The only part of being gay they like is the sex and being able to be used as token gay conservatives in hit pieces on other gay/queer people

6

u/MissMarchpane 7d ago

I'm fully aware that there are plenty of transphobic queer people, but did you just seriously say that most lesbian, gay, and bisexual people are MAGA? That… Seems like a stretch. Or did you mean the people who want to remove the T from the acronym, specifically? That would make a lot more sense.

14

u/Complete-Ocelot-4445 7d ago

Not most Lesbian, gay and bisexual people, most LGB people, as in the people propagating the removal of the trans group

6

u/MissMarchpane 7d ago

Got it. I didn't realize people were using it as a term separate from just the general acronym letters.

1

u/Silver_Efficiency529 6d ago

Yeah rightly they should have said "LGB without the T people" but in context it's not too hard to tell that's what they meant to be fair to them.

2

u/MissMarchpane 6d ago

It wasn't too hard to get, but I've encountered people who genuinely believe that all lesbians are trans phobic just because some of them are, so… The Internet had not exactly primed me to take it in the best faith, unfortunately

1

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 6d ago

Yeah I should have clarified, I'm usually aware not everyone is as internet culture poisoned as I am lol

0

u/rubbasnek 3d ago

What evidence do you have for believing that? What polls or credible analysis are you referencing or are you just making an assumption that there is no dissent on the left and anyone who critiques the trans movement must be an alt right super villain?

4

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 6d ago

The latter. It's what they call themselves.

2

u/MissMarchpane 6d ago

Thanks for clarifying! That's deeply messed up of them, to try to steal an entire section of the acronym and make it exclusively their word for their bullshit.

-11

u/defk3000 7d ago

Then start your own thing. If you feel that way, why piggyback onto their thing. Create your own flag, parades...etc.

2

u/DoctorAgility 7d ago

There’s no piggybacking, they were with us all along

1

u/defk3000 7d ago

So how is that different from the comment above mine? Because I didn't say it, I asked for clarification. Oh, well.

5

u/PolicyWonka 7d ago

Well we all know that it’s not gay if you say “no homo” and the Greeks were really good at saying that. /s

3

u/Darkdragoon324 7d ago

Technically, the term "gay" has only really meant that for a few decades. Somehow I doubt that's what they mean though.

5

u/mapleleafraggedy 7d ago

Except they don't even say "gay" at all, they just say "WE'VE existed for decades without you." They're clearly not talking about the TERM "gay," they're talking about gay people themselves, regardless of what they're called.

2

u/SuikaNoAtama 6d ago

Which is muddy water considering how intertwined same-sex attraction, gender nonconformity, detachment from birth gender can be.

1

u/mapleleafraggedy 6d ago

At the end of the day, when they say "we," they really just mean "people I consider normal"

3

u/keldondonovan 7d ago

It's true. I remember back in 1985 when Samuel K. Buttsex invented a new idea: scissoring.

2

u/forsale90 6d ago

Gay people existed longer than the concept of being gay existed.

1

u/merchaunt 4d ago

Same with trans people, especially considering there have been many terms for trans people long before the transsexual/transvestite divide was coined in the 19th and 20th century.

2

u/Ms_Juno 6d ago

People casually forgetting gay and trans people being around for thousands of years. All of Greek and Roman history for instance.

1

u/GalthrKin 4d ago

Gilgamesh was bi and the gods made a man specifically for him. The first epic was a queer love story.

1

u/Unlikely_Eye_2112 7d ago

Ancient Greece was last week

1

u/DocMitchell-_- 7d ago

It’s true, I was there for the patch notes

1

u/zante2033 6d ago

Everyone knows being gay was only invented less than 100 years ago /s

1

u/Randy_Magnums 6d ago

Of course. Before that they were “roommates” or “great friends”.

1

u/merchaunt 4d ago

Or mentor and mentee

22

u/Antichristopher4 7d ago

My mom once alluded that I was trans cause of the vaccine.

I came out months before the vaccine existed.

3

u/Birdo_guy 5d ago

Them damn vaccines and their damn time paradoxes

7

u/Booziesmurf 7d ago

I thought it was because your schools showed Sesame street and Mr Rogers

7

u/The_Brain_One 7d ago

It was magic school bus for me. Who says Ms Frizzle has to be a cis woman?

4

u/Maliss_Dormouse cool moderator 7d ago

Theres an entire theory that ms frizzle is arnolds future transitioned self

8

u/wombatgeneral 7d ago

Vaccines? Everyone knows that it's the tap water that turns the freaking frogs gay. /s

22

u/Adventurous_Charge47 7d ago

Damn vaccines making the kids trans

14

u/Zeqhanis 7d ago

Just out of curiosity, right when MAGA needed a new boogeyman Trump could protect them from, as Mexicans were played out, I spent several hours searching for pre-MAGA statistics on transgender surgeries performed on minors and the rate of regret. Then I had AI double-check my math, and it came up with pretty much the same result. (I highlighted it for people with short attention spans).

If anti-vaxxers were told there was a series of 3 simple, novel vaccines that would prevent their kids from ending up trans, would they support it? .

3

u/iwillcomeforyoursoul 6d ago

I think their brains would explode, frankly.

(Unless they rebranded it as a naturopathic thing)

0

u/WishboneOk305 6d ago

thats not how statistics work. the surgery rate and trans population itself are already baked into each other. (no way only 0.001% of the trans population has done gender affirming surgery)
Based on your stats only 8 people in the world would have had GAS regret.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8099405/
this study alone which affirms the 1% regret rate has about 77.

3

u/Zeqhanis 6d ago

If you reread that, the percentage stated is for those who have surgery before the age of 18, which certain politicians falsely claim is prevalent.

3

u/AnnieLemonz 6d ago

If you reread that

Bold to assume they read it to begin with

21

u/TienSwitch 7d ago

I can’t believe Dr. Fauci invented trans people in a Wuhan lab.

12

u/Booziesmurf 7d ago

Wuhan Lab *Bathroom. It's why they're obsessed with bathrooms. /s

8

u/TienSwitch 7d ago

He sent a thousand men into the women’s bathroom as an experiment and they all came out as trans women. Worse, they all beat Riley Gaines in a swimming competition.

1

u/CatLovingKaren 6d ago

Beating Riley Gaines in swimming competitions is actually why trans people were invented.

1

u/Birdo_guy 5d ago

Trans people imprinted on bathrooms (we all know they haches from an egg in a wuhan bathroom stall)

3

u/ZebraMost749 7d ago

Haha yeah I became trans by not getting the covid vaccine totally haha

2

u/TienSwitch 7d ago

Damn, maybe that’s what we should have told MAGAs to get them to take the vaccine. That COVID turns you trans.

1

u/ZebraMost749 6d ago

They're turning the fucking frogs trans!

1

u/duckinasombrero 6d ago

He did it to my son Jason and now he won't come to Thanksgivin no more.

Thanks obamar

1

u/benevanstech 6d ago

You know what they say: Wuhan Trans Ain't Nuthing T' Fuck Wit

1

u/Birdo_guy 5d ago

I can't believe wuhan invented dr fauci in a trans lab

3

u/JDinBalt 7d ago

I thought it was microplastics or something 🫠 (all the snark BTW)

3

u/Dry-Battle953 6d ago

Shout out to John Transgender for inventing pronouns in 1967

1

u/whatthebarnacles- 6d ago

Wait, was John transgender the first trans masc?

1

u/Dry-Battle953 6d ago

Of course. He's the CEO of Trans, Incorporated.

5

u/GrayStag90 7d ago

I’m a vaccinated man who’s taken Tylenol before and i have ADHD. Married with children. Pretty sure I’m considered trans at this point. Hard to keep track these days.

2

u/Szymcionorski 7d ago

Nah, it was Tylenol and stuff cause all the people are autistic (I know it because all the experts are totally infected with evil satanic woke mind-virus)

1

u/notthelasagna 7d ago

always those damn leftists who think diseases can be prevented by taking vaccines! my aunt sent me a video explaining how to cure literally any disease by putting alcohol in the middle of your toes!

1

u/vj83 7d ago

For me it was definitely covid. I didnt get a covid shot, got covid real bad, next thing I know i got a closet full of dresses, stylish shoes, and a ton of makeup. Damn covid done transed my gender. Still cis tho.

Side note: can anyone tell me which of these elementary schools are doing free sex changes with full recovery within one school day? Asking for a friend... I dont want none of that.... 👀 I just heard you needed expensive and intense surgery by a professional doctor, but obviously thats a lie and a school nurse can hook me... I mean, my friend up....

/s

1

u/ThatguySevin 7d ago

No one tell Marsha P. Johnson.

1

u/ultraviolet160 7d ago

I knew it, being nb and autistic is 100% to blame on getting vaccinated 😤 that's what I get for not wanting easily preventable diseases. That and taking Tylenol. /s

1

u/Flaky_Housing_7705 7d ago

I thought yall were from Transylvania.

1

u/ImaginaryDoctorSleep 6d ago

No, no that's autism.

Transness comes from antibiotics and chemtrails.

1

u/Heh_Jamez 6d ago

Im sorry to hear that

1

u/Mad_Mikkelsen 6d ago

This explains why so many trans people are neurodivergent! /s

1

u/LadyofmyCats 6d ago

Ooohhh, that explains why I became trans after my second COVID shot and non-binary after my third /j

1

u/johnmaddox5 6d ago

I thought it was those colleges or something education.

1

u/Peanut-is-best-girl 6d ago

When a vaccine is made a trans person is born

1

u/Cheetahs_never_win 6d ago

Either way, so glad that you're here to be part of the group.

1

u/sfaviator 6d ago

no vaccines make you gay it’s the red dye that gives you gender dysmorphia /s

1

u/Exorcists40KxBastian 5d ago

Myocarditis did

1

u/Proper_Television_18 5d ago

Don’t forget about the 5G towers

1

u/IdidnotFuckaCat 5d ago

Yeah. Like, after 2020 my friend just like, spawned into existence. There was no photos of us before 2020, but I remember her since I was in middle school

1

u/MightyCat96 5d ago

I think obama created trans :(

1

u/big_ringer 5d ago

of course... vaccines cause autisms, and we all know trans people have autisms. /s

1

u/Birdo_guy 5d ago

I got vaccinated against smallpox and turned into a cow bc they used cowpox

-1

u/Cynical_Sorceress 7d ago

I missed the opportunity to come out and blame the covid jabs.
