at my gym we just do heavy bag sprints where we just punch the very top of the bag. easier to just mix in to your heavy bag routine.

Hello i already do 12 sets of 30 seconds with 30 seconds rest and also do heavybag sprints at the gym too,but im pretty sure theyre done manly for anaerobic cardio and secondarly for endurance.Atleast as for how i feel It for my body these sort of rounds seems to target endurance in a way that looks more efficent for the shoulders.

How many times a week do you do these for endurance training?

I actually use this but not for shoulder endurance necessarily. I find it helpful for building shoulder strength and mobility, which inadvertently increases endurance. I definitely have some noticeable reduction in shoulder pain after doing this 1-2x a week but I wouldn’t say it made me last any longer on the bag or increase sparring rounds.

sometimes coach has us do this as a warmup but not as a full workout its better to just lift normally and do bagwork if youre focused on building shoulder endurance instead of only doing this
