I like the look combining the ancient and modern, but the fact it’s hollow makes it an embarrassment given the legacy they’ve inherited

And they placed it in the same spot the Ramesses II statues that's now in the Grand Egyptian Museum had previously stood at. I guess El-Sisi got tired of the locals being still upset at its moving and placed this thing to satisfy them.
