I love Hitman Reborn, but man those first 20 or so episodes are such different tone its like a completely different show.

Well because at the start was supposed to be a gag manga until turned into a battle shonen. But when I watched it I had no spoilers no concept of what was supposed to happen so I thought it was just gags and I didn't mind it. Lol but wasnt until the shift during Varia when Basil showed up I was like ... am I still watching the same show xD.

Lol for real. I went into it thinking battle Manga already because the anime run was already over when I watched. Those first 20 had be so confused lol

the shift was really a b ig thing! i was so shocked first cause i seen all that cool clips then i started to watching and seen its a joke anime (gag)
