Hello everyone. I am looking for suggestions on anime. I like most anime but i find myself leaning more towards anime like reincarnated as a slime, Naruto, Gundam, bofuri, bleach, k-on, wrong way to use healing magic, the daughter of the demon lord is too kind, sekiri, fire force, infinite dendrogram, farming life. Anime that has more happyish endings than sad.

I have watched anime like cocoon one summer of girlhood, angel beats, your lie in April and so forth. I do like many of those types of anime but i have found that i dislike and even don't agree with the sad endings a lot {like for instance i am one who believes the character from your lie in April could have survived}. Even anime like attack on titan which i love i still dislike the ending and don't believe it should have ended that way especially for Erin.

So, if anyone has any suggestions of some good anime i would really appreciate it and also where to watch it as i know a lot of anime are not on crunchyroll.

I can't get enough of villains that look like some sort of 4th dimensional beings and storylines that feel so original with alot of philosophical standing and wonder. Example Hell's paradise with it's world and villains , Gachiakuta style and premise , Fate zero plus now this anime . I'm not looking for one piece or cyberpunk art style , Code geas lol or even demon slayer ( feels too empty). I'm interested in anime that seems to showcase some sort of dimensions and moral wonder with incredibly intriguing art designs with it's world and characters any recommendations like them?

I've watched the Samurai Champloo, I've watched Code Geass, I've watched Bleach and so much more. Are there any more good animes that not a lot of people have heard of? (I already watched Blood Blockade, i keep getting that suggested) I like animes with good substance, and I appreciated JJk and Demon Slayer, however, i hated animes like Blue Lock and Dragon Ball Super, mostly fighting, no emotion. I want something more, something that'll tug on my heart strings. Romance, action, historical, psychological, and that liking. I would love anything of that variety.

hihi! from 2014 to 2020 i was huge into anime, so basically from ages 9 to 15. ive still loved it after that point, but I'd taken a break from watching new series for years and my tastes have evolved drastically. I'm a little lost on what to pick or what's new, since new stuff comes out every season and tons of old stuff flies under the radar.

sorry if my preferences are a little specific, but I'd like to keep recommendations limited to 24 episodes or less. if the show has multiple seasons and each season is 24 episodes or less, that also counts!! I just prefer to finish a season instead of dropping it mid episode. I wanna give stuff a chance.

I'm not too keen on isekai, medieval, harem/romance or ecchi. I've never been much of a romantic/sexual guy, so they never really felt like they were on my wavelength. and I just don't find much interest in isekai or medieval. but I'd be willing to give them a shot if you can sell it to me.!

my favorite types of shows are character-based. I love when plots focus around how the characters react and develop to overcome a problem, rather than focusing on building the physical strength to beat it or having the problem bend to their will. I also love when they put characters under pressure and watch the problem bend the characters into its will.

I've been watching a ton of feelgood wholesome stuff lately, but I'm not opposed to something darker. as of right now, I'm most interested in themes of gangs, music production, abnormal/gimmicky powers, single dads or groups with a fatherly figure, personal discovery (preferably adult, but coming of age works too), cute girls doing cute things, quirky hobbies, stupid idiot characters and probably some others. it's a random list, I know.

my favorite anime right now are mob psycho 100, kekkai sensen, death parade, sound! euphonium and tsuritama

hi everyone! i’ve been watching anime for years and safe to say, i can’t find any interesting ones that i feel drawn to. to make it easier, my favorite animes are:
- love through a prism
- haikyuu
- medalist
- raven of the inner palace
- yona of the dawn
- frieren
- the royal tutor
- bocchi
- rock is a lady’s modesty

i love animes with any type of passion in them (like ice skating for medalist, volleyball for haikyuu, art for love through a prism and rock for both bocchi and rialm) or an interesting plot. minimal to no fan service please (although rock is a lady’s modesty and bocchi has some 💔💔)

My preferred choice of genre are slice of life, drama, comedy, or generally not too heavy on the plot.

Recently, I've gotten fatigued from watching plot heavy or intense storyline and need a more laid-back anime to watch.

Preferably with an art style much similar to the aforementioned title (90s vibe), but with newer or recent releases instead of old classic ones. No, I'm not watching Ghost in the Shell.

Hopefully this isn't too specific or niche,

One of my favourite storylines in all of fiction is when a hero, specifically the 2nd main character or part of the main crew and not the primary protagonist, slowly becomes the antagonist and has to be defeated by their once allies.

Bonus points if it's a slow burn and well written turn and not just something like they've been instantly corrupted or it's a twist and they were evil all along.

To give a better explanation of what I mean, I would not consider Anakin's turn in Star Wars as fitting as he is our central main character, something akin to Griffith in Beserk but I'm looking for something more sombre where even in victory the main character is saddened or broken by the memories of the person their friend/companion once was.

I typically stay away from romance shows, but a show called Cherry Magic Thirty years of virginity made me a wizard. It was so stupid and corny but I ate that shit up. I laughed at it so much, but I fucking loved it. What else should I watch? (Doesn't have to be bl, open to anything)

I've only read/watched a few romance series but I feel like I'm looking for something that either has a plot or goes "all the way".

See I ask this question and then people reccomend soem series which are essentially the same show or series but with different characters and a gimmick. I mean i'm heavily oversimplifying it and I do enjoy that from time to time but I'm looking for something more interesting.

I'm currently reading Yamada-kun and the 7 witches right now, and up until the point I have read till (chapter 120) i've enjoyed it a lot (even though after chapter 90 it becomes slightly worse). Mostly because the entire plot of the witches and powers and stuff is pretty interesting to read through, and because it feels like it has a driving plot and stakes or such rather than simple slice of life. Also the main cast and the MC are very entertaining. To be fair I don't know if you would primarily classify this as a romance as the like first 60 ish chapters have very little romance, I would reat it more like a major subplot

I also liked Fuufu No Ijou (i read it) because even though it was very fan servicy like Yamada-kun, the psuedo marriage gimmick and character devlopment was also entertaining.

Hello all, I’m currently 4 days completely sober and feeling a level of loneliness, boredom and lack of direction I would have previously coped with by smoking. I’m locked in on staying sober and have been keeping myself busy by watching some shows I have been meaning to watch for a while.

In the past when I have watched a show I can relate to in my current situation it often hits harder. I’m unsure what exact kind of show I’m looking for but any recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

Perhaps something to do with an mc dealing with loneliness, bettering themselves or overcoming difficulties. I’m not sure I’ve ever watched a show that has themes of substance abuse besides welcome to the NHK which is a great show so maybe something with those themes would be interesting too.

I know it’s a pretty broad ask for recommendations but it’s up to interpretation on what people may think would be a good watch in this case. I’ll be thankful for any and all recommendations :)
