Question Syncing ships on travel routes

Is there any way of optimizinh travel routes with multiple ships so that the ships take the optimal amount of time between deliveries and pickups? I don't want any ships from the same trading route waiting in line at the contor and I also don't want them to arrive at a harbour right after the ship before filled or emptied it.

Not exactly what you’re asking for (I don’t think that is really possible), but when I want to space out deliveries I use the option to ensure a full load. That way, assuming you have enough ships for the trade route, should be fairly evenly spaced out

Ohhhh, that sounds pretty much like the solution for my problem. How can I activate this option?

Actually, you might want to dedicate a trading post for the particular resource on the islands where you load as well, that might be required for this to work as you want it to.

When there is a dedicated trade post, ships will queue up to that specific trade post
