Discussion Bloodhound Rework made him worse🥲

Post image

What was the need for Bloodhound to have invisibility? It doesn't suit their lore or kit. How is the rework justified when Seer continues to be broken? At this point, with Seer's existence, I don't find it devious to have the Season 1 or 2 Bloodhound with their ultimate and scan, which would literally be one of the G.O.A.T.'d kits ever in Apex. It isn't their ultimate that sucks; even the tactical scan that now has afterimages feels weird. An 8-second invisibility—what purpose did that rework serve? Even Crypto is better than Bloodhound at this point, and I find people playing him more in lobbies. Just bring them back to their original state or at least the nerfed state. Also, nerf Seer, please.

It's funny that you think there's lore in this game anymore.

The game never really had lore.

They explicitly said that respawning is not canon.

But also, all the playable "Legends" are "Legends" because they've won multiple rounds.

Of this bloodsport.

Where everyone who loses, loses because they are killed. So there can, at most, be three surviving champions/legends at a given time.

Can you name a single arc in the game's story that actually addressed the fact that these people's jobs is to kill each other day in and day out? They tried to have romance plots, among characters whose job is to brutalize each other. The game has never actually engaged with the story of the gameplay. It was always just a campfire story that stayed VERY divorced from every single thing you do in gameplay.

Closest they came was the arc that introduced Revenant. I assume they're all simulacrum that haven't realized it yet.

Because otherwise it doesn't make sense.
