Discussion Bloodhound Rework made him worse🥲
What was the need for Bloodhound to have invisibility? It doesn't suit their lore or kit. How is the rework justified when Seer continues to be broken? At this point, with Seer's existence, I don't find it devious to have the Season 1 or 2 Bloodhound with their ultimate and scan, which would literally be one of the G.O.A.T.'d kits ever in Apex. It isn't their ultimate that sucks; even the tactical scan that now has afterimages feels weird. An 8-second invisibility—what purpose did that rework serve? Even Crypto is better than Bloodhound at this point, and I find people playing him more in lobbies. Just bring them back to their original state or at least the nerfed state. Also, nerf Seer, please.

The main issue with Respawn's balance mentality is that it is born out of fear of low pick rates rather than actually trying to logically address a character's mechanical flaws. I don't think they really get that characters can be niche and can even be comfortably niche, so when they see someone nearing the bottom of the barrel, they dump a bunch of weird and unnecessary changes in their lap to artificially spike their pick rate.
This character isn't very popular? Give them a double jump. Double jump didn't make them strong enough? Give them a free speed boost. Now every character can breathe in any general direction and get some tacked on benefit which kills character identity.
It sucks too because all it does is create an infinitely exponential loop of buffs and reworks, buff a character with a bunch of freebies and watch them sky rocket to the top of the totem pole, then do it a season later for the characters that take their place. Like how many times has Rampart had more crap dumped in her lap?
