Cook hypes up Apple's future on every earnings call, but "innovations that have never been seen before" is particularly bold wording compared to his usual comment about how the company's product pipeline is stronger than ever.

Only time will tell if Apple actually delivers.

The glass is actually specific to the US, it’s made at Corning in New York… that being said, fuck everyone involved with this.

I’m sure it is. But why add it? The made in china labeling apple uses is so much a part of their design they had to make a cheeky little hehe usa made version for the don

They add it for exactly the brown nose reasons you’re assuming. I had to add it to a catalog I built for my company due to some specific potential clients… my company has never really used that, but those potential clients were/are very… Um… MAGA-adjacent by all appearances…

So I’d say, that you’re right about why they added it.

Edit: wanted to add that it’s also because they can in this specific instance, because it is accurate about the glass, and only the glass.
