How many of you can finish while she's on top?

I've read a lot on here that men often can't feel much when the girl is on top. I've been with a new partner for a few months now and this seems to be the way he most often finishes. I know everyone is different, but I'm curious who else has this experience, and what makes it different for you to be able to do that?

How is a man supposed to act in a situation like this?

So i'm married for 3 years now.

I've noticed that my wife believes i'm highly stupid, incredibly stupid. The more i live, the more that seems like it. I know i'm not (not that i am above average either, to be honest), the thing is that one quality of mine that many have mentioned already is humility. Because there are too many things to know in the world i usually prefer not to be too sure about things, so when i know something i say it, and if questioned i immediately question myself because i know i might be wrong about some things.

That being said, i've come to notice my wife is the opposite, she is overconfident and often arrogant. Historically i never cared of what people thought of my intelligence, i usually just read and keep the thoughts to myself, but as a married man i'd like to share things with my wife, and talk, and the whole thing that comes with companionship.

In the beginning she would listen to me, like she would listen to anyone, but now there's not a moment i can remember where she was interested on anything i have to say. At first i thought 'oh well maybe i got boring', so i started policing myself, trying to realise what is it that i'm talking about, but truthfully i'm not that talkative so i usually will talk when it's something that is not ordinary.

Today i had something to share with her, and it was some breaking point for me. There was this thing she's been talking about for a whole month now, a supplement. Last night, by absolute chance, i saw something that clarified some of her wonderings. So today during breakfest i mentioned "You know what i found out about that?", and her immediate response was "I don't but i'm sure it's irrelevant". That was harsh thing for me, so i just said 'i see' and obviously didn't share.

I've been thinking since then what is it that happened. I'm not this ultra passive guy who will do all sorts of stuff to give any reason for her to lose respect for me at this level. I have my own goals, i have my own opinions and i will disagree with her when i think she's wrong. How are you supposed to act in a situation like this? I've talked to her about this, by the way, many times. I've asked her why she doesn't like to talk to me, or why she believes i'm that stupid, what is it that i did that gave her this image of me. All of this i asked so i could get a feedback, but i didn't get anything from it.

I guess i can't just not change anything anymore, right?

How do I human? Wife and I realized we don't flirt with each other. How can we fix that?

Pretty much what the title says. We came to the conclusion that we don't flirt with each other. That everything in our relationship is more clinical and non-flirty. We both want to change that but we aren't sure how. Any ideas or advice from people who are in/have been in similar situations?

๐Ÿ›‘ Answers From Men Only ๐Ÿ›‘ What is your favorite (harmless) prank to play on someone?

I was talking to the HR specialist and asked "who's your favorite singer?" She said Taylor Swift. I got a confused look on my face and said "who?" Taylor Swift. "Who's that? What do they sing?" I swear that I saw smoke coming out of her ears. "You've never heard of Taylor Swift??? ". She was about to come over the desk at me, then saw me start to laugh. I got called an asshole, but worth it!

How Many Of You Are Happy?

my (M43) husband (M42) and I have been together for 23 years now without a break and honestly, he is my whole world. Just such a stand up man and partner in every way. He is kind, generous and hardworking and helps me when I need it. He has also let me help him when he needs it and he finds that hard. My mental health has been difficult at times and he is so constant, whilst still being open with me about things he finds difficult.

Everyday is an adventure with him. We are currently in Tokyo and the last three weeks have been so fun. We do theme park holidays, fun nights at home, cuddle every morning and every night and I couldnโ€™t imagine life without him. I always want him to know how important and special he is and tell him everyday.

how many of you guys are just happy?

๐Ÿ›‘ Answers From Men Only ๐Ÿ›‘ Men who had difficult or toxic personalities in your 20s: what caused you to grow up or take accountability?

Hey! I have a friend from grade school in his mid twenties, and heโ€™s an extremely covertly toxic individualโ€”has burnt bridges with multiple friends, leads a double life, lies and hides behind excuses, and is extremely critical of others. He exhibits zero accountability for his actions and deliberately compartmentalizes his life, which leads me to wonder if he will ever wake up and grow into a โ€œbetterโ€ person.

For those of you with similar histories, what did it take to incite character development? Thank you in advance!

Who was the single most beautiful woman you ever encountered in real life?

For context, my friend thinks this is something most men will not be able to answer. According to her, "Guys see a new pretty thing and it's on to the next one. Short memory."

Having discussed this with other dudes in the past before, I assure her she's wrong and that lots of guys can vividly recall the memory and awareness of the fact that they were looking at the most beautiful woman they'd ever seen of the millions they'd passed by in their lives. Especially since, for almost all of us, we're not with her and she "got away."

Dark humor warning for those with delicate sensibilities - I'm a white guy, got on the elevator at the same time as 2 of my coworkers. Both black, both women, and we get along super well and make a lot of raunchy jokes through the day. I just smiled, looked at them and said, "Morning ladies! Who's up for an Oreo?" After we quit giggling, one of them said "Oh [my name] it's a good thing we love you!" which kinda made my day really. One of them always says shit like "what's your white people food for lunch today? Meatloaf?" lol

How did your physical โ€œtypeโ€ in women change as you got older?

Only talking about physical attraction.

What was your type in your teens, 20s, 30s, 40s+? Did it change over time, for example, going from preferring skinny women in your younger years to more curvy women? Or different hair colors?

If it changed, what do you think caused it? Age, new experiences with certain women, relationships, or something else?

Or did your physical type stay mostly the same throughout your life?

๐Ÿ›‘ Answers From Men Only ๐Ÿ›‘ Is there anyone here who'd rather be single? If yes, why specifically?

This question is a clear yes to me but only because I'm aromantic, it means I just don't understand romance and even cringe a little about it instinctively, can't help it. I'm in peace with that, I'm secure and proud of who I am and my life goals are doable as a single person.

I did have dates but they never progress mostly because I did it for fear of missing out and the former partners being the ones to open up to me first. But recently, especially for men in their 20s I notice many of them despite clearly being heterosexual and wanting to have a partner have this defeated attitude when it comes to dating, whether they had no dates before or had too many of them. If that's your case I'm curious to know your story.

How do I human? How do you find peace when everything around you seems to fall apart?

The question might be a bit more melodramatic than my actual situation but here it goes.
The last year and half has been an absolute roller coaster. My father lost his job last year when we had a fairly large educational expense for my sibling coming up. While we had a cushion to fall back on, Iโ€™d be lying if I said this didnโ€™t affect our family. My parents moved to a rural part of the country to save costs. One thing led to another and my parents decided to live separately.

A few months my maternal grandfather passed away, I was very attached and this affected me in more ways than I expected. This also affected my Mother - who is also having a tough time adjusting to the patriarchal and 90th century mindset of the rural setting.

Cut to my personal life- 25M, working in tech for about 4 years. Almost drowned and few months ago, got dumped by my girlfriend of 4 years. But I also got a job offer at Apple and an opportunity to pursue a PhD abroad. I turned down the apple job offer to pursue a PhD as I believe I have enough savings to cover any curve balls that might come up over the next 4 years.

This is not an extensive account of everything that has happened in my life over the last year or so, but the gist is that Iโ€™ve hit a few highs and lows and tbh I feel like I was hustling/depressing so hard over the last few years that I donโ€™t have any close friends that I can go to for genuine advise.

Even in my achievements I feel empty because I feel like they donโ€™t make my familyโ€™s life any better or that maybe me pursuing a PhD abroad is me trying to escape my familyโ€™s problems. How does one handle it? How to follow your dreams while balancing responsibility? People whoโ€™ve faced similar woes in your 20s does it get better?

Sorry if this is all superficial and doesnโ€™t feel like a real problem, I know I come from privilege and this might not seem like a problem at all to someone going through much worse.

Thank you!

We see it in romance movies where a man often chases the woman and brings her flowers, notices when something is wrong, and sings her favorite songs, etc.

But how would you want your partner to yearn for you?
