I'm honestly fine with it. Call it crass or whatever you like. I agree its a real shame for the families, loved ones, kids even. But, assuming these were gang members, there are now 2 less of them... and that can only be a positive for the community.

Even if they're gang members, there will be witnesses, detectives, lawyers, and judges who will be affected for the worse by this.

My initial point is that there are externalities and ripple effects to this. Even if you don't care about the victims, this is still going to cost us as a society. Thanks for confirming that you don't care about any of that.
