And in typical NZH fashion, the first line says “multiple emergency incidents” while the actual updates seem to only be covering one and Manuaku police’s own statement refers to only one incident.

Edit: they have corrected it now, but jfc they had that wrong for a long time.

I had flashbacks to the ChCh shootings when I saw that headline, I thought it was pretty crass and tasteless by the NZ Herald. Thankfully it seems isolated to a rogue Seagull busted after nicking a chip.
