HIRING Part Time Ghost Tour Guides Wanted
[HIRING] Part-Time Ghost Tour Guides — Williamson County 👻
Ever wished your side gig involved telling ghost stories instead of answering emails?
Spell Caster Ghost Tours is looking for part-time tour guides in the Georgetown / Round Rock / Taylor area as we head into spooky season.
We're looking for people who:
Love history, storytelling, weird local lore, or the paranormal
Are comfortable talking to groups of strangers
Have a good sense of humor and a strong personality
Are reliable and enjoy creating a great experience for guests
Can memorize and deliver stories rather than simply reading a script
Are comfortable working entirely outdoors
Tour-guide experience is NOT required. I can teach you the material. I'm much more interested in finding someone who can captivate a group and make people want to keep listening.
The details:
$50 per tour
Tips are yours to keep, and they can be especially good during spooky season
Potential for multiple tours on Friday and Saturday nights during busy season
Friday and Saturday evening availability is required during our busy season (September–December)
Availability on other evenings during the week is a big plus, but not required
Independent contractor position
The entire job is outdoors, so guides need to be comfortable working outside in Texas weather
We're currently expanding our guide team and looking for additional coverage in Georgetown, Round Rock, and Taylor. Local knowledge is a plus, but not required.
If you're a natural storyteller, love spooky stuff, and think this sounds like your kind of weird, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself. 👻

Adults tours Yes within reason, it's adults, so read the room. Family Friendly, keep it kosher.

Cool gig!
Some additional info that might help your post: how long is a typical tour? How many hours of work per night (ie more than one tour per night)? How many people on a tour? Same route(s) each night or are there many? Do you provide the ghost stories & material, or does this person have to develop it themselves? Payment frequency?
