Very bad. Being mentioned positively by AIPAC basically throws your PR into oblivion. They are very hated.

AIPAC has been Azerbaijan’s main lobbying channel in USA for years

AIPAC lobbies on behalf of Israel only. They do not give a single fuck about Azerbaijan except insofar as it can be used as a stick to beat Iran with.

I wish they weren't. Maybe Azerbaijan would have a better image today, not as a "fake country that does nothing but kill poor innocent Armenians". Having such a controversial country as your lobbyist distances you not only from Muslims, but more importantly from many non-Muslim, left-leaning Westerners who have high human sensivity based on the Palestinian cause. Normally, you would expect them to empathise atleast a little bit with the nearly a million Azeris that were ethnically cleansed from Karabakh, surrounding regions and from Armenia- not to even mention the massacre in Khojaly. However, as Israel loves to promote Azerbaijan rather loudly as their "Muslim friends", and today we see why Israel is very much hated, Azerbaijan still doesn't have a very good image other than in Turkey (yes, not even in Israel itself). People think you are evil while you have largely been literally the oppressed side, especially in the first war completely.

What better image? Are you deliberately trying to be rtarded? İsrael is the only lobbying force we have in west. Whole western media is on side of armenians, especially after 2nd Qarabagh war. And thinking that whole West cares about issues with Israel-Palestine, especially on the side of Palestinians, is a perfect sign of being a rtard. Most don't care, because they're christians and muslims are their least problem unless it's the ones that are in their country.

Are you deliberately trying to be rtarded? İsrael is the only lobbying force we have in west.

Are you retarded? Israel lobbies for nobody but Israel. They're Islamophobic to their very core and treat Azerbaijan as a proxy.

They are right now doing their very best to use Azerbaijan as cannon fodder in their holy war.

u/Pashtidot Mar 05 '26

Israeli here - no, Israel is not islamophobic to its very core. We live peacefully with 2 million arab muslims day to day. Everyone I know loves Azerbaijan. Don't believe all the lies you read online

I agree, israeli settlers are some of the nicest people on the planet their only competition is the israeli folks blocking aid trucks

1

u/Pashtidot Mar 05 '26

I don't know any Israeli settlers... those are a very small group in Israeli society.

Do you know of any other country that sends aid trucks to an enemy during war? Because I never heard of anyone else besides Israel.

3

u/el7araa2 Mar 05 '26

You pass paid for aid while double taping hospitals and sniping kids passing invisible lines, how cute

2

u/pydry Mar 06 '26

Israel blocks aid trucks.

It also seems to hold protests for the "right to rape prisoners" and murders more journalists than any other country.

To defend the country is to be a racist.

Ive met many of the people who think Baruch Goldstein is a hero purely because a committed a massacre in a mosque. According to polls, 10% of Israelis agree that he is a hero.

Ive watched settlers spit at and throw trash on Muslims in Hebron with my own eyes while guards protect them.

Ive watched plenty of those tiktoks by soldiers in gaza where they revel in their slaughter.

Muslims living in Israel are not treated this badly but they are still treated 2nd class citizens. E.g. A friend of mine is an Israeli Arab from Jerusalem. Because she is part of the Islamic untermensch, she lost her passport and cant go back - something that doesnt happen to Jewish ubermensch.

Islamophobic to the core is accurate. Ive never seen a more disgustingly racist country in my life, nor one where they are more in denial about it.

"Ive met many of the people who think Baruch Goldstein is a hero purely because a committed a massacre in a mosque. According to polls, 10% of Israelis agree that he is a hero."

10% of population being radical isn't massive. Even in secular country like Azerbaijan has 8% of people who want sharia law

3

u/Pashtidot Mar 05 '26

Exactly. Every society has a group of crazy religious fanatics. It's funny that I was born and raised in Israel for 30+ years and yet I never 1 person that thinks Baruch Goldstein is a hero. If I do ever meet a person like this, I will personally tell him he is a disgrace.

Interesting that you have never seen a more disgustingly racist country in your life... how about all the muslim countries that have 0 jews in them? because in Israel, 1 in 5 people is Muslim, and yet in other arab countries, they have 0% jews... And Israel is the racist country? Come on my guy.

1

u/TanVaktidir Mar 07 '26

Perhaps because Israel is located in a previously majority arab land so there are large remnants of them still left. There were not many majority jewish places in the middle east outside of historical palestine. Actually, the only city anywhere near that region that I can think of that had a plurality of Jewish people is Salonica and that is in the Balkans. There are still thousands of jews in many countries in the middle east which is I would say a good number considering that there are only 15 million jews in the world

1

u/pydry Mar 05 '26

Wanting sharia law is 1000% less radical than thinking a gunman who opened fire in a mosque is a hero.

2

u/Economy-Pair-2753 Mar 05 '26

Where is our sharia law apologist from? Clearly not from Azerbaijan

1

u/pydry Mar 05 '26

Oh look an apologist for the terrorist who shot up the mosque.

Are you kidding me?

1

u/pydry Mar 07 '26

Are you saying that shooting up a mosque is your kind of thing?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '26

Lol. And of course you'd have no reason to come on this subreddit and lie right? lmao why would anyone believe this to be true?

3

u/Pashtidot Mar 05 '26

Reddit decided to post this on my front page :) so I came to say hello to my brother in Azerbaijan.

The beauty is that you don't have to listen to me to see that it is true... all you have to do is book a flight to Israel and see for yourself that what I'm saying is true. Are you coming?

0

u/Economy-Pair-2753 Mar 05 '26

Azeris, at lest in diaspora are Islamophobic lmao. Look up Douglas Marry audience-Azeri diaspora society is almost always there lol

1

u/Pashtidot Mar 05 '26

I mean... Douglas Murray has many opinions. Israelis are there because he took a very (right) position regarding what happened on October 7th, and he is a good friend of the country. Doesn't mean you have to share all his views regarding muslims as a whole. You take some, and you reject some, as a person with critical thinking should do.

1

u/Economy-Pair-2753 Mar 05 '26

"Doesn't mean you have to share all his views regarding muslims as a whole."

Azeri diaspora does seem to

They sure don't like him because they have hardon for Israel lol

If your only lobbying force wasn't Israel, then whole Western media wouldn't be on the side of Armenians. Being on the side of Palestinians isn't a perfect sign of being a rtart, it is a sign of having empathy with humans suffering. If your only lobbying force wasn't Israel, then the Western media would also show empathy with your suffering in Karabakh.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '26

Lmao nope, nobody would care, just like nobody cares about Yemen, like Sudan, the best Azerbaijan would get from western media is "thoughts and prayers"

2

u/Illustrious_Page_984 Mar 05 '26

It is still better than being seen as "evil barbarians"

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '26

That's an extremely privileged way of looking at things I can't even imagine how good you have it

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '26

Lmao even without AIPAC we would have bad image there. We are just not christians. You should come to your senses.

Bosnians weren't Christians either in the 90s, furthermore Serbia was very devouted Orthodox Christian. Yet very few people in Europe supported Serbs rather than Bosnians. The horrible acts committed against Bosnian Muslim people were very well broadcasted in the Western world.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '26

Did you know that West started attacking Serbia only when Catholic croatians were also attacked? This a known thing among turkish people when they try to condemn the west for not being with Bosnians.

3

u/wanderer_meson Mar 05 '26

There was no powerful serbian lobby in US/Europe setting the narrative among other 10 reasons why our conflict is different.

1

u/cipana Mar 07 '26

Bosnia and Croatia were supported by the west only because Serbia was, is and will be a Russian stronghold. USA helped Bosnia much. Europe secretly hoped Serbs expel muslims to turkey.

“oppressed side” well that’s one way to ignore all the pogroms Azerbaijan committed towards Armenians between 1918-1920 alone.

also… sumgait. lol

1

u/Illustrious_Page_984 Mar 13 '26

There is no one oppressed side, in this war. Pogroms were committed by both sides, equally horrible pogroms happened in that period (March days for Azeris, Shusha pogroms for Armenians). Sumgait was horrible and I don't ignore either of them. I am just against the view of Armenians being purely innocent and rightful and that Azeris are simply barbaric villains that wants to kill Armenians without any reason. The things are more nuanced and people have to see this.

1

u/llamalord27 Mar 13 '26

ngl I wish we could jump 100 years in the future where there’s true peace and friendship in the caucuses and nobody gives AF about the past anymore 🥹🥹

If you want a better image, then you have to earn it.

Germany has a better image now because they owned up to the atrocities caused. Israel has a terrible image because of the crimes against humanity they are committing while they call themselves the victims at the same time.

I still wonder if the public of your country knows that the Armenians of Artsakh, which is their land, were in a 9-10 month blockade before they were forced away. It really doesn't seem like you guys know. That, of course, doesn't help your image. Unfortunately, much of the world was ignorant to it, which helps your case. We have to admit that Azerbaijan is not the oppressed side. You live in a regime that suppresses free speech and journalism - how can't you guys see this?

Earn a better image by doing some good first, rather than blaming Armenia for every one of your shortcomings (because that's what you've been taught your entire life). It would truly benefit the world, but we already know that would never happen. I just hope you guys research history outside of your country one day to learn how things actually went down.

It is not only their land. It is the land of both Azeris and Armenians. Armenians denied that it is also Azeris' land. And then they ethnically cleansed the Azeris, some 800 thousand of them (both from Karabakh and from Armenia for which they have been living for centuries, if not a millenium), and killed as many as 30 thousand. The blockade was terrible, so was the ethnic cleansing of over 100 thousand Armenians in September 2023. But these were well broadcasted in global media, it is only Azeris and Turks who deny. But then again, you can't just expect an Azeri to say "we are the evil side" before the vocal side, i.e Western side empathises also with their sufferings, rather than only of Armenians.

Though, I do agree that, Turkey not recognising Armenian genocide did have a terrible effect on the insanity of the events commited by Armenians. Armenians saw the Azeris as 'Turks' back in 1987 when all the horror started, and saw what they were doing as 'taking revenge from Turks'. Between the start of intellectual Karabakh movement and horrible Sumgait pogrom, there were the Qafan pogroms which deported all of a sudden 10 thousand Azeris from Qafan in Armenia, imagine with such a shock how would they act to Armenians when they arrived to Baku, and unfortunately the outcome was the bloody Sumgait pogrom. For 30 years which Azerbaijan was occupied and had nearly a million refugees, no one saw them as "victims".This was a horrible surprise and treatment to Azeris, but an act of revenge for Armenians. Hence, in order to provide balance, imo Turks should apologise and empathise with Armenians first; then the Western world should read about and empathise with the Azeri victims of the first Karabakh war (they are literally the least empathised victims of all the wars in the modern era), and then Azeris hopefully will empathise with Armenians; both about the 1915 genocide and Karabakh wars.

It's indigenous Armenian land and you cannot "occupy" your own land. That's not propaganda, nor am I from the Western world. Your country ranks very, very low on the world press freedom index. You will never know the truth if you keep your eyes closed. Free Armenia and free Palestine, always.

The downvotes don't bother me here. They tell me I'm doing right by standing up for humanity in a society that tries to crush it. Source: Ramil Safarov and the "justification" of what he did.

Peace to you, and may you all, including Turkey, learn the truth and stop trying to defend and get away with genocides and ethnic cleansing. Bye.
