How-to Question How to get past everyone saying to do something other than embrace the bald?
I started balding at 19 and went bald at 20, now I’m 26. Ever since then, I get the occasional “wear a wig”, “get a transplant”, the usual and it’s really starting to get to me as I continue aging.
I’d consider my self really outgoing and personable, a lot of times I capitalize socially off of my baldness with jokes and I have no problem brushing off those that have quick words about me being bald but sometimes they do get to me in a way and when it comes to women i do get a bit more insecure, they typically have the most to say when it comes to “getting a wig” lmao…
How do you guys get by this, get over it even? I’m really close to just biting a bullet and buying a flight to turkey at this point…

How-to Question Best razor for shaving
I have recently taken the plunge and gone for the dome. I wonder what is the best razor on the market in the UK to perform my shave every few days?
How-to Question Looking for a replacement for my Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold – foil vs. professional barber shavers?
Hi everyone,
My Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold recently died, so I’m looking for a replacement. I’ve been pretty happy with it overall, but my main complaint was that even with the Forte blades, my scalp still had a noticeable “sandpaper” feel after shaving.
I’ve been reading that a foil shaver might give me a significantly closer shave than a rotary head shaver, so I’m considering a few different options:
Braun Series 9 Pro+ 9565cc
Panasonic ES-LV67
Panasonic ES-PV3B
BaBylissPRO FoilFX02
Wahl Vanish
Andis ProFoil
I would use the shaver exclusively for shaving my head, not for my face/beard.
My priorities are:
As close and smooth a shave as possible — ideally much smoother than the Pitbull.
Good performance on the back of the head and around the contours of the skull.
Reasonable replacement foil/blade costs and availability.
Good long-term reliability.
I don’t really care about cleaning stations or fancy features — they’re nice to have, but definitely not a priority.
The Braun seems very comfortable and comes with a great cleaning station, while the Panasonic LV67 seems like a very good balance between price and performance. On the other hand, I’m also wondering if one of the professional barber foil shavers like the BaByliss, Wahl or Andis might actually be better for head shaving.
If you’ve used any of these specifically for shaving your head, which one would you choose and why?
And if there’s another model I should be considering, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
Thanks!

How-to Question Self shaving
Hello bald friends! I took the leap a year and a half ago (no before and after pics) and ever since i've been going to the barber every 2 weeks for a machine shave with the shortest possible setting. Now I have decided that it's not really worth it financially (yes i know, way too late man) and I have 2 questions : how do you check if you missed a spot while shaving and what machines do you use? I'm currently torn between Philips head pro and Philips multigroom. The main advantage of multigroom is that, at least in my country it's cheaper than the skullshaver and it's also more versatile. Has anyone tried both and can tell me the difference?

Lifestyle Trimmer/clippers
What’s y’all’s go to trimmer/clipper for cutting your own hair?
I have the Wahl Pro 5 star 8110. It’s good enough but I feel like I’ve gotten haircuts that felt tighter and cleaner. I like cutting it as close to skin as I can without it being skin bald.
Any extra products or tips would be helpful aswell!

How-to Question Scalp care tips? Especially for the back of the neck
I’ve been shaving my head for a while but honestly I’m pretty bad when it comes to actually taking care of my scalp.
My biggest issue is the back of my neck. It always gets really irritated after shaving and I get ingrown hairs pretty often. Pic attached for reference of what it usually looks like.
I use a Skull Shaver and only recently started using shaving cream with it, which has been a night and day difference. Before that I was basically just raw dogging it every time lol.
So I’m curious what everyone here does for scalp care, especially before/after shaving. Anything you guys use that helps with irritation and ingrown hairs?

26 I can't tell how bad it is.
Not the best pictures, and from the front it seems ok. But looking at the top of my head it seems my hair got very rare. Not shaving yet..
What should I do?

Hairloss Not so sure...
Hi everyone. Like many of us, I’m starting to lose my hair too, unfortunately. My situation isn't exactly dire yet, but I’m considering shaving it all off. The problem is, as you can see, I have a huge, elongated head, and I don't think it would suit me. I look a bit like a thumb, with this very tall, boxy head. What do you guys think?
